Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your HDMI Switcher, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to open or modify the device, as this will void the warranty.

Troubleshooting and Important Notes

If you encounter issues, please review the following points:

  • No Signal/Display Issues:
    • Ensure all HDMI cables are securely connected to both the source devices, the switcher, and the displays.
    • Verify that the USB power cable is properly connected and providing power (DC 5V/1A).
    • Try switching inputs manually using the "Select" button on the device.
    • Test with different HDMI cables if possible, as faulty cables can cause signal loss.
  • Resolution/Compatibility Limitations:
    • This device does not support HDR, HDCP 2.2, or HDMI 2.0.
    • It does not support 4K/60Hz. The maximum supported resolution is 3840*2160@30Hz.

    • If your source device is HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, you must set its output resolution to 4K@30Hz to ensure compatibility with this switch.
  • 3D Content: To view 3D content, all devices connected to the switch's outputs (displays) must support 3D.
  • IR Remote Control:
    • Remember to remove the insulating sheet from the remote's battery compartment before first use.
