4. Setup and Installation
The NATFIRE A07 offers two primary installation methods: using the seat post bracket or the seat bracket (under-saddle).
4.1 Seat Post Bracket Installation
- Attach the silicone strap of the seat post bracket to your bicycle's seatpost.
- Fasten the silicone strap securely around the seatpost.
- Install the A07 tail light onto the base of the bracket.
- Adjust the light to be installed either horizontally or vertically as preferred.
4.2 Seat Bracket (Under-Saddle) Installation
- Use the buckle strap to fix the seat bracket onto the seat rail track under your saddle.
- Install the A07 tail light onto the bracket.
- Ensure the light is securely attached. It can be installed either horizontally or vertically.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To power on or off the device, long press the power button located on the light.
5.2 Mode Switching
The A07 features both Normal and Intelligent modes, each with multiple lighting patterns.
- Switching between Normal and Intelligent Mode: When the light is OFF, long press the power button to toggle between Normal and Intelligent modes.
- Switching Lighting Patterns: In either mode, single click the power button to cycle through the available lighting patterns (Marquee light 1, Marquee light 2, Double flashing).
- Turning Off (Quick): Double click the power button to turn the light off quickly.
5.3 Normal Mode
In Normal Mode, the two blue lights on the sides of the tail light are constantly on.
- Lighting Patterns: Marquee light 1, Marquee light 2, Double flashing.
- Brake Sensing: When braking is detected, the red light will strobe for 5 seconds, then return to the currently selected lighting pattern.
- Automatic Sleep: If the bike remains stationary for 30 seconds, the light will automatically enter sleep mode.
- Automatic Wake-up: The light will automatically wake up upon detecting movement/vibration.
5.4 Intelligent Mode
In Intelligent Mode, the light operates with enhanced power saving features.
- Lighting Patterns: Marquee light 1, Marquee light 2, Double flashing.
- Brake Sensing: When braking is detected, the red light will strobe for 5 seconds, then return to the currently selected lighting pattern.
- Automatic Sleep: If the bike remains stationary for 30 seconds, the light will enter sleep mode. After braking, if the bike remains still for 8 seconds, the light will turn off completely.
- Automatic Wake-up: The light will automatically wake up upon detecting movement/vibration.
5.5 Charging
The NATFIRE A07 is equipped with a USB-C charging port.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the light and to a power source (e.g., power bank, USB charger, computer).
- During charging, a green indicator light will flash.
- Once fully charged, the green indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.
- The 800mAh battery provides 17-35 hours of running time depending on the mode.
6. Maintenance
- Regular Charging: If the tail light is not used for an extended period, charge it every three months to maintain battery health.
- Cleaning: Wipe the light with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Exposure: The light is IPX5 waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. Do not immerse the light in water.
- Storage: Store the light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a USB-C power source and check the charging indicator.
- Light not responding to movement (Intelligent Mode): Ensure the light is in Intelligent Mode (long press when off to switch). If it's been stationary for 30 seconds, it will enter sleep mode and wake up with vibration.
- Brake sensing not activating: Ensure the light is securely mounted and the motion sensor is not obstructed. The brake flash duration is fixed at 5 seconds.
- Difference between Normal and Intelligent Mode: In Intelligent Mode, after braking, if the bike remains still for 8 seconds, the light will turn off completely to save power. In Normal Mode, it enters sleep mode after 30 seconds of inactivity but doesn't turn off completely after braking if stationary.

- The brake sensing feature is designed to make you more visible when slowing down, flashing brightly for 5 seconds to alert traffic behind you.
