5.2. Mounting the Laser Level
The laser level can be mounted using several methods:
- Magnetic Pivoting Base: Attach the laser level to metal tracks or steel surfaces using the strong magnetic pivoting base.
- Lifting Base: Use the lifting base to raise the laser lines from the surface, allowing projection over uneven surfaces or obstructions. This base adjusts between 1 inch and 3.15 inches in height.
- Tripod Mounting: The device features a 1/4"-20 mounting thread for attachment to a standard tripod.

6. Operation
6.1. Powering On/Off and Mode Selection
To power on the device, slide the Power/Lock Keypad to the unlocked position. The device will automatically enter self-leveling mode.
6.2. Self-Leveling Mode
When the pendulum is unlocked, the self-leveling mode is enabled. The laser level will automatically adjust itself to project accurate horizontal and vertical lines. If the tool is out of its self-leveling range (±3.5°), the laser beam will beep and blink rapidly to alert you.
6.3. Manual Mode (Tilt Mode)
To activate manual mode, slide the Power/Lock Keypad to the locked position. In this mode, the laser tool can be placed at any angle to project non-level lines. The laser beam will blink every 3-5 seconds to indicate that it is not self-leveling.

6.4. Line Switching
You can switch between horizontal and vertical laser lines using the 'H' and 'V' buttons on the keypad, the remote control, or the Huepar app.
- Short press the 'H' button to cycle through horizontal lines.
- Short press the 'V' button to cycle through vertical lines.

8. Troubleshooting
- Laser Beams Blinking/Beeping: If the laser beams are blinking rapidly and the device is beeping, it indicates that the laser level is out of its self-leveling range (±3.5°). Adjust the position of the device until it is within range.
- Laser Beams Blinking Slowly: If the laser beams are blinking every 3-5 seconds, it means the device is in manual (tilt) mode and is not self-leveling. This is normal behavior for manual mode.
- No Laser Output: Check the battery level and ensure the device is properly powered. If using AA batteries, ensure they are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge.
- Remote Control Not Responding: Ensure the remote control batteries are functional and that there are no obstructions between the remote and the laser level.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device and the Huepar app is installed and updated. Try restarting both the laser level and your mobile device.
