Safety Warnings: Locking the Headlight

To prevent accidental activation and potential high temperature risks, especially when carrying the headlight in a bag or near children, it is crucial to engage the "locked" state.

  • To Lock the Light: Quickly press the power button 3 times. The red indicator light on the button will flash 3 times, confirming that the headlight is now locked.

User Tips

  • For optimal visibility and safety, utilize the appropriate brightness mode for your riding conditions (e.g., High for unlit trails, Low for well-lit urban areas).
  • Regularly check the battery indicator before your ride to ensure sufficient power.
  • The versatile mounting options (handlebar or GoPro adaptor) allow for flexible placement to suit your bike setup and preference.
  • The aluminum alloy shell not only provides durability but also aids in faster heat dissipation, ensuring consistent performance.
  • Remember to always engage the lock function when storing or transporting the headlight to prevent accidental power-on and conserve battery.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your XOSS headlight, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Light not turning on: Ensure the headlight is unlocked (refer to "Quick Start Guide"). Check if the battery is charged.
  • Light not charging: Verify the charging cable is securely connected to both the headlight and the power source. Ensure the power source is active (e.g., USB port is powered). Check if the USB waterproof plug is fully uncovered.
  • Short battery life: Ensure the headlight is fully charged before use. Battery life can be affected by extreme temperatures. Using higher brightness modes will consume battery faster.
  • Light flickering or inconsistent: Ensure the headlight is securely mounted and connections are firm. If the issue persists, try fully charging the device.
