4.1. Compatibility Check
Important: This display is ONLY compatible with Bafang Mid/Hub Drive Motor Kits that use the BF-UART communication protocol. It is NOT universal.
- Communication Protocol: Ensure your motor kit uses BF-UART. Most 5-pin circular connectors use BF-UART. Male connectors often use 5S-UART, and CAN protocol uses triangular connectors. These are not interchangeable.
- If your motor is not a Bafang brand, or if it uses a different communication protocol, this display will not be compatible.
4.2. Mounting the Display
- Position the display and button control unit on your e-bike's handlebar.
- Adjust their location for optimal visibility and ergonomic access.
- Secure the display and button control using the provided mounting rings and screws.
