Setup Instructions
The BW-CML2 features a space-saving, magnet fixing design, perfect for monitors with a thickness of 15-25mm.
- Ensure your monitor's thickness is between 15-25mm. Wipe clean the surface of the computer monitor where the light bar will be placed.
- Tear off the adhesive backing from the metal sheet and stick it to the middle position on the top of the display. Ensure the adhesive side is firmly attached to the monitor.
- Pass one end of the USB cable through the bottom of the bracket. Place the bottom of the bracket on the display, aligning it with the metal sheet.
- Paste the adhesive of the fixed bracket to the position between the bracket and the display screen. Connect the USB power cable to a suitable USB outlet (e.g., computer, phone charger, power bank) to complete the installation.

The BW-CML2 features intuitive touch controls located on the light bar:
- One touch: Turns the lighting ON.
- Double touch: Turns the lighting OFF.
- Short press: Adjusts brightness.
- Long press: Switches color temperature.
- Short touch (RGB side): Toggles RGB backlight ON / cycles through 15 modes.
- Long press (RGB side): Turns RGB backlight OFF.

- Cleaning: Gently wipe the lamp body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the finish or electronic components.
- Dust Removal: Periodically use a soft brush or compressed air to remove dust from the light source and touch control area.
- Storage: If storing the light bar for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Avoid bending or crimping the USB power cable excessively. Ensure it is not placed in a position where it can be tripped over or damaged.
Troubleshooting
Remote Control Pairing (Applicable to CML2 Pro model with remote control)
If you are experiencing issues with remote control functionality (for CML2 Pro model), follow these steps:
- Reset: Turn the computer lights ON and OFF three times consecutively (power off - power on - power off - power on - power off - power on). The switching time between each state should be less than 1 second; otherwise, the count will be cleared. The light effect will indicate pairing mode, and after the white light breathes three times, it will remain steadily on. The pairing condition will time out after 30 seconds if no remote is paired.
- Distribution Network (Pairing): While in the pairing state, press and hold the remote control key for 5 seconds. Once the remote control is successfully paired, the computer light will flash warm white twice, and then restore the previous lamp effect. The pairing is now complete.
- Note: The computer hanging lamp will not exit the pairing state even if successfully paired with a remote controller. A single lamp can be paired with up to 6 remote controllers.
- Unbinding: To unbind a remote control, press and hold the key on the remote controller for 5 seconds. After successful unbinding, the screen lights up, and the warm white light flashes three times before restoring the previous lighting effect.
General Issues
- Light not turning on: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the light bar and a powered USB port. Try a different USB port or power adapter.
- RGB lights not working: Ensure you are using the correct touch control (short touch on the RGB side) to activate and cycle through RGB modes.
- Brightness/Color Temperature not adjusting: Ensure you are using the correct touch control (short press for brightness, long press for color temperature) and that the light is on.
