3. Setup Guide

3.1. Powering On the Camera

1. Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's power input port.
2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its startup sequence.

3.2. Installing the Yoosee App

1. Scan the QR code provided in the manual or search for "Yoosee" in your mobile app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
2. Download and install the Yoosee app.
3. Register a new account or log in if you already have one.

3.3. Connecting the Camera to Wi-Fi

Important Note: This camera supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks ONLY. It does NOT support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during setup.

1. Open the Yoosee App: Launch the Yoosee application on your smartphone.



2. Add New Device: Click the "+" icon or select "Add new device" within the app.



3. Choose Smartlink: Select the "Smartlink" connection mode for indoor models.



4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password.
5. Device Ready: The device will prompt when it's ready for connection.
6. Waiting to Connect: Increase your phone's volume and keep it about 30 cm from the camera.
7. Connecting to Wi-Fi: The device will attempt to connect to your Wi-Fi. This may take 1-2 minutes.
8. Improve Setting Information: Enter the camera's ID and password (usually found on a label on the device).
9. Complete: Once connected, you can view the camera feed and complete the setup.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Pan and Tilt Control

From the Yoosee app, you can remotely control the camera's viewing angle:

• Horizontal Rotation: Swipe left or right on the live view in the app to rotate the camera 355 degrees horizontally.
• Vertical Rotation: Swipe up or down on the live view to tilt the camera 110 degrees vertically.

4.2. Two-Way Audio

The camera supports two-way voice communication, allowing you to speak through the camera and hear audio from its surroundings:

• In the live view interface of the Yoosee app, tap the microphone icon to speak.
• Tap the speaker icon to listen to the audio from the camera's location.

4.3. Night Vision

The camera is equipped with built-in infrared lights for clear night vision. It automatically switches between day and night mode based on ambient light conditions, providing surveillance up to 10 meters in darkness.

4.4. Motion Detection and Alarm

The camera can detect motion and send real-time notifications to your mobile app. You can also configure it to record video to the SD card when motion is detected.

• Enable motion detection in the Yoosee app settings.
• Customize alarm sensitivity and notification preferences.
• Set up recording to the SD card upon motion detection.

4.5. Video Recording and Playback

The camera supports continuous recording or event-triggered recording to a Micro SD card. You can playback recorded videos directly from the Yoosee app.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Micro SD Card Installation

To enable local video storage, install a Micro SD card (not included) into the camera:

1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the camera.
2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

5.2. Firmware Upgrade

The camera's firmware can be upgraded remotely through the network via the Yoosee app. Ensure your camera has a stable internet connection and sufficient power during the upgrade process to prevent interruptions.
