5. Setup

Mounting the LED Light to Your Camera

The LED-ARM2 features a cold shoe mount design for easy attachment to most DSLR/Mirrorless cameras with a standard hot shoe.

1. Gently slide the cold shoe mount of the LED-ARM2 into your camera's hot shoe.
2. Rotate the locking knob clockwise to securely fasten the light to your camera.

6. Operating Instructions

Power On & Power Off

1. To turn on the LED light, press and hold the Mode Switch button for approximately 3 seconds.
2. To turn off the LED light, press and hold the Mode Switch button again for approximately 3 seconds.

Mode Switching

The LED light supports three lighting modes: Left Light, Right Light, and Double Lights. These modes play circularly.

• Short press the Mode Switch button to cycle through the different lighting modes.

Adjusting Brightness

The LED light offers ten adjustable brightness levels in each lighting mode.

• Short press the Brightness '-' Button to decrease the light's brightness.
• Short press the Brightness '+' Button to increase the light's brightness.

7. Charging

The Macro Arm Light has a built-in 600mAh rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, please charge it using the included 1.5m Type-C cable.

• Connect the Type-C cable to the Type-C IN Port on the control unit and to a 5V/1A power source.
• The indicator light will flash while charging and remain constant when charging is complete.
• Charging time is approximately 2 hours.

Lighting Time

• Maximum Lighting Time: Approximately 13 hours 30 minutes (at the lowest brightness level in Double Lights Mode).
• Minimum Lighting Time: Approximately 1 hour 25 minutes (at the highest brightness level in Double Lights Mode).

Q: Does this work with Sony DSLR cameras?

A: Yes, this item fits most DSLR/Mirrorless cameras with a standard hot shoe.

Q: What is the effective distance of this light?

A: We recommend that the shooting distance should not exceed 1 meter. For the best results, aim for a shooting distance within 30cm.

Q: How long does it take to fully charge, and how long can it be used?

A: It takes about 2 hours to charge with a 5V/1A charger. When using the lowest brightness, it can be used for approximately 13.5 hours. At the highest brightness, it can be used for about 1.5 hours.

11. User Tips

• **Memory Function**: The LED light has a memory function. If you turn it off and then on again, it will recall the last used lighting mode and brightness level.
• **Default Mode Reset**: To quickly switch to the default mode of "Double Lights" at the fifth brightness level, press the Mode Switch button three times consecutively.
• **Brightness Feedback**: When the brightness reaches its lowest or highest level, the LED light will flash three times to indicate this.
• **Optimal Distance**: For the sharpest and most illuminated macro shots, position your subjects within 30cm of the light source.

12. Maintenance

• To clean the product, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using organic solvents or alcohol-based liquids, as these can damage the device.
• Store the Macro Arm Light in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
