4. Setup Guide
4.1 Physical Installation
- Mount the Mirror Camera: Secure the 9.66-inch mirror camera over your existing rearview mirror using the provided universal mounts (bandages). Ensure it is firmly attached and does not obstruct your view.
- Connect Power: Plug the cigarette lighter power cord into your vehicle's 12V power outlet and connect the other end to the mirror camera's USB-C power port. Route the cable neatly along the windshield trim and dashboard.
- Install Rear Camera (Optional): If you have a rear camera, mount it at the rear of your vehicle, typically above the license plate or on the rear window.
- Route Rear Camera Cable: Connect the rear camera to the main unit using the 6m extension cord. Carefully route the cable along the vehicle's interior trim to conceal it.
- Rear Camera Wiring (for Reversing Assist): For the reversing assist feature to function, connect the red wire from the rear camera cable to your vehicle's reverse light anode (B+). Connect the black wire to ground (GND) and the yellow wire to ACC (accessory power).

4.2 Initial Power On & Basic Settings
- After connecting the power, the device should power on automatically when the vehicle starts. If not, press the Power key.
- The system will load and display the main interface.
- Access the settings menu (gear icon) to configure date & time, language, record resolution (720P+720P or 1080P+1080P), split time for recordings, and other preferences.

4.3 Wireless Apple CarPlay Connection
- On the mirror camera, navigate to the Apple CarPlay section.
- On your iPhone, open Settings > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Search for the device name (e.g., T86-154C71) in your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and pair with it.
- When prompted on your iPhone, select "Use CarPlay with SmartScreen" or "Use CarPlay".
- CarPlay should now be connected wirelessly.

4.4 Wireless Android Auto Connection
- On the mirror camera, navigate to the Android Auto section.
- On your Android phone, open Settings > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is enabled.
- Search for the device name (e.g., T86-154C71) in your phone's Bluetooth settings and pair with it.
- Allow contacts and make calls, then confirm pairing.
- Android Auto should now be connected wirelessly.

4.5 FM Transmitter Setup
- On the mirror camera, select the FM Transmitter icon.
- Turn on the FM Transmitter feature.
- Tune your car's factory radio to the same frequency displayed on the SmartScreen.
- You can now enjoy audio from the mirror camera through your car speakers.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Touch Screen & Interface Navigation
- The 9.66-inch IPS touch screen allows for intuitive control.
- Swipe up and down to adjust the field of view for the cameras.
- Slide left and right to switch between front, rear, or combined camera views.

5.2 Voice Control

5.3 Recording Features
- Dual 1080P HD Cameras: The front and rear cameras record simultaneously, providing clear images and videos.
- Loop Recording: When the TF card is full, the device automatically overwrites the oldest files.
- WDR Technology: Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) compensates for shadows and overexposure, ensuring stable and clear images in various lighting conditions, including tunnels and night driving.

5.4 Reversing Assistance
When you shift into reverse gear, the screen automatically switches to the rear camera view. Dynamic reversing lines appear to help you judge the distance to obstacles. These lines can be adjusted or turned off in the settings.

5.5 Bluetooth Music & AUX Connection
- Bluetooth Music: After connecting your phone via Bluetooth, you can play music from your phone through the mirror camera. The device will automatically switch to Bluetooth phone function for incoming calls.
- AUX Wired Connection: Use the provided 3m AUX cable to connect the mirror camera to your car's audio system for high-quality sound output.

6. Maintenance
6.1 TF Card Management
- Regularly format the TF card (Micro SD card) to ensure optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. This can be done through the device's settings menu.
- It is recommended to manually clean up the TF card memory occasionally, even with loop recording, to maintain smooth operation.
6.2 Cleaning
- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and camera lenses.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the device.
7. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Check the power connection to the cigarette lighter. Ensure the vehicle's 12V outlet is functioning.
- CarPlay/Android Auto not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on your phone and the mirror camera. Verify correct pairing in your phone's Bluetooth settings. Try restarting both the phone and the mirror camera.
- No rear camera display: Check the physical connection of the rear camera cable to the main unit. Ensure the reverse trigger wire is correctly connected to the reverse light anode.
- Poor audio quality via FM Transmitter: Adjust the FM frequency on both the mirror camera and your car radio to find a clear, unused channel. Ensure the original car charger or step-down cable is used for stable power.
- Recording issues: Ensure a compatible TF card is inserted and formatted. Check the TF card for sufficient space. If issues persist, try a different TF card.
- Voice control not responding: Ensure the voice control feature is enabled in the settings. Speak clearly and use the specified commands.
