1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Andoer 4K Digital Video Camera. This camcorder is designed to capture high-quality video and photos with advanced features such as 4K/60FPS recording, 48MP image resolution, 16X digital zoom, a 3-inch rotatable touch screen, IR night vision, and WiFi connectivity. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and to maximize your experience with the device.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the rechargeable lithium battery (3.7V/2000mAh) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Charge the battery using the provided charging cables before first use.

3.2 Memory Card Insertion

The camera supports TF card and MMC card (4GB-128GB, not included).

  1. Locate the memory card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Insert the memory card with the contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card until it springs out.

3.3 Attaching Accessories

3.3.1 Wide Angle Lens

To attach the 0.39X Wide Angle Lens, screw it onto the front of the camera's main lens. Ensure it is securely fastened but do not overtighten.

3.3.2 External Microphone

Mount the external microphone onto the hot shoe mount on top of the camera. Connect the 3.5mm TRS audio cable from the microphone to the camera's microphone input jack.

3.3.3 Video Sling Handle

Attach the video sling handle to the designated mounting points on the camera for comfortable and stable recording.

3.4 Tripod Mounting

The camera features a universal 1/4-inch interface at the bottom for quick and stable tripod mounting.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the 'POWER' button to turn the camera on or off.

4.2 Using the Rotatable Touch Screen

The 3.0-inch capacitive touch screen can be rotated 270° to accommodate various recording angles and self-recording. Tap the screen to access menu options and settings.

4.3 Recording Video and Taking Photos

Switch between video and photo modes using the dedicated 'MODE' button. Press the 'RECORD' button to start/stop video recording or to capture a photo.

4.4 Digital Zoom

Use the zoom controls (W/T buttons) on the camera body to adjust the 16X digital zoom for different views.

4.5 IR Night Vision

Activate the IR night vision function for recording in dim environments. Refer to the on-screen menu for activation.

4.6 WiFi Connectivity and Sharing

The camera supports WiFi connection for quick sharing of videos and photos with your smartphone. Download the companion app (if available, check user manual for details) to connect your phone to the camera's WiFi network.

4.7 HD Output for TV Displaying

Connect the camera to a TV or monitor using an HD multimedia interface cable (not included) to view your recordings on a larger screen.

4.8 Advanced Features

  • Anti-shaking: Electronic Image Stabilization helps reduce blur from camera movement.
  • Time-lapse and Slow Motion: Access these recording modes through the camera's menu.
  • Motion Detection: Configure the camera to start recording when motion is detected.
  • Self-timer: Set a delay (3s / 5s / 10s / 20s) before a photo is taken.
  • White Balance: Adjust settings (Auto/ Daylight/ Cloudy/ Fluorescent/ Tungsten) to match lighting conditions.
  • Exposure Compensation: Adjust from -3.0 to +3.0 for brighter or darker images.
  • System Language: Choose from 12 kinds of system languages including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Remote Control: Use the included remote for convenient operation from a distance.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Use the provided wiping cloth to gently clean the camera body and lens.
  • For stubborn smudges on the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning solution and a microfiber cloth.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they may damage the camera's surface or lens coatings.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Always use the original charging cables and adapter.
  • Avoid exposing batteries to extreme temperatures.
  • If the camera will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries and store them in a cool, dry place.

5.3 Storage

  • Store the camera and its accessories in the provided carrying bag or pouch to protect them from dust and physical damage.
