4. Setup Instructions

  3. Connect Regulator to Air Tank:
    • Carefully thread the input side of the regulator (M18*1.5, 5/8-18UNF, or G1/2-14) onto the air tank valve.
    • Hand-tighten first, then use an appropriate wrench to secure it firmly. Do not overtighten.
    • Ensure the double O-rings are properly seated to prevent leaks.
  4. Connect Output Device:
    • Connect your device (e.g., HPA system) to the output thread (M18*1.5) or the 8mm male quick plug on the regulator.
    • Ensure this connection is also secure.
  5. Initial Pressure Check: Before fully opening the tank valve, slightly open it and listen for any hissing sounds indicating a leak. If a leak is detected, immediately close the tank valve and re-check all connections.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Open Air Tank Valve: Once all connections are secure and leak-free, slowly open the air tank valve.
  2. Monitor Pressure Gauge: Observe the pressure gauge on the regulator. It will display the output pressure. The regulator is pre-set to one of the available output pressures (800psi, 1800psi, or 2200psi) depending on your model.
  3. Use the Device: You can now operate your connected device at the regulated pressure.
  4. Close Air Tank Valve: When finished, close the air tank valve completely.
  5. Depressurize System: Before disconnecting, operate your connected device briefly to release any remaining pressure in the line between the tank valve and the device. The pressure gauge should drop to zero.
  6. Disconnect Components: Once the system is fully depressurized, you can safely disconnect the output device and then the regulator from the air tank.

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the regulator for any physical damage, cracks, or corrosion.

Problem Possible Cause Solution

No Output Pressure Air tank valve closed, empty air tank, internal regulator malfunction. Ensure tank valve is open. Check tank pressure. If tank is full and valve is open, contact support.
Incorrect Output Pressure Regulator malfunction. Do not attempt to adjust internal components. Contact support.
Burst Disk Ruptured Over-pressurization, faulty disk. Immediately depressurize the system. Replace the burst disk with an identical rating. Investigate cause of over-pressurization.
