Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure your system is powered off and unplugged. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific CPU socket and header locations.
- Prepare the CPU: Clean any old thermal paste from your CPU and CPU cooler mounting area.
- Install Backplate (if required): For Intel sockets, install the appropriate backplate behind the motherboard. AMD sockets typically use the stock backplate.
- Attach Mounting Brackets: Secure the correct mounting brackets to the pump/cold plate assembly according to your CPU socket type.
- Apply Thermal Paste: If thermal paste is not pre-applied to the cold plate, apply a small pea-sized amount to the center of your CPU's Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS).
- Mount Pump/Cold Plate: Carefully place the pump/cold plate assembly onto the CPU, aligning the mounting holes. Secure it with the provided screws, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.
- Install Fans on Radiator: Attach the RGB fan(s) to the radiator using the longer fan screws. Ensure the fan airflow direction is as desired (typically blowing through the radiator).
- Mount Radiator: Install the radiator into your PC case in an appropriate location (e.g., front, top, or rear), using the shorter radiator screws. Ensure there is adequate clearance for the tubes and fans.
- Connect Cables:
- Pump Power: Connect the 3-pin pump cable to a dedicated AIO_PUMP or CPU_FAN header on your motherboard. If neither is available, use a SYS_FAN header.
- Fan Power: Connect the 3-pin fan cable(s) to CPU_FAN or SYS_FAN headers on your motherboard. If using multiple fans, you may need a fan splitter (not included) or a fan hub.
- RGB Lighting: Connect the RGB cable(s) from the fan(s) and pump to a compatible RGB header on your motherboard (e.g., 12V RGB header) or an external RGB controller (if included/purchased separately).

Operating Instructions
Once installed and all cables are securely connected, power on your computer. The Kllisre AIO cooler will automatically begin circulating coolant and the fans will spin to cool the radiator. The RGB lighting on the fans and pump will illuminate.
- Fan Speed Control: Fan speeds are typically controlled by your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or through motherboard software. Adjust fan curves to balance cooling performance and noise levels.
- RGB Lighting Control: The RGB lighting is controlled via your motherboard's RGB software (if connected to a compatible header) or through a dedicated RGB controller if one was included or purchased separately. Refer to your motherboard's manual for RGB software details.
Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your liquid cooler.
- Dust Cleaning: Periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months), use compressed air to clean dust from the radiator fins and fan blades. Ensure the fans are not spinning while cleaning to prevent damage.
- Inspect Tubing: Occasionally check the tubing for any signs of kinks, cracks, or leaks. While AIO coolers are sealed systems, visual inspection can help identify potential issues early.
- Thermal Paste: The thermal paste typically lasts for several years. If you notice a significant increase in CPU temperatures, consider reapplying fresh thermal paste.
Troubleshooting
- High CPU Temperatures:
- Ensure the pump and fans are properly connected and spinning.
- Verify the cold plate is making full contact with the CPU and thermal paste is correctly applied.
- Check for dust buildup on the radiator.
- Adjust fan curves in BIOS/UEFI for higher speeds if necessary.
- Pump Noise: A slight hum is normal. Excessive gurgling or grinding might indicate air bubbles or a failing pump. Gently tilt your PC case to help dislodge air bubbles.
- Fan Noise: Check for loose fan screws or obstructions. Adjust fan speeds in BIOS/UEFI.
- RGB Not Working:
- Ensure RGB cables are securely connected to the motherboard header or controller.
- Verify the RGB header on your motherboard is enabled in BIOS/UEFI.
- Check motherboard RGB software settings.
- Compatibility Issues: If the cooler does not fit your socket, double-check the included mounting hardware against your motherboard's specifications. The Kllisre cooler supports a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets as listed in the specifications.
User Tips
- Socket Compatibility: This cooler is designed for a broad range of sockets including Intel LGA 115x, 1200, 1366, 2011, 1170, AM5 and AMD AM3, AM4. Always confirm your specific motherboard socket before installation.
- TDP Considerations: While AIO coolers are generally efficient, consider the Thermal Design Power (TDP) of your CPU. For high-end CPUs like Ryzen 7 5700x or Intel i5 12600KF, a 240mm radiator (W240) is generally recommended over a 120mm (W120) for better cooling performance.
- RGB Customization: If your motherboard supports RGB sync technologies (like Aura Sync), connect the cooler's RGB cables to the appropriate header for software control. If not, the cooler may have a default RGB cycle or require a separate controller.
- Fan Replacement: The fans are standard sizes (120mm). If you wish to replace them with different fans, ensure they are compatible with the radiator and your motherboard's fan headers.
- Thermal Paste: Most Kllisre AIO coolers come with thermal paste pre-applied or included in the package. Ensure it is applied correctly for optimal heat transfer.
