8. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your thermostat, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the thermostat's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the display or casing.
  • Avoid Obstructions: Ensure that the thermostat's vents are not blocked by furniture, curtains, or other objects, as this can affect temperature readings.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure. If any loose connections are found, consult a qualified electrician.

9. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your thermostat, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Thermostat not powering on: Check the main power supply to the thermostat and ensure all wiring connections are secure.
  • Incorrect temperature reading: Ensure the thermostat's vents are not obstructed. If an external sensor is used, check its connection and placement. Consider adjusting the 'Temperature Adjustment' or 'Temperature Tolerance' in advanced settings if a consistent offset is observed.
  • Heating not activating/deactivating: Verify the operating mode (Manual, Timing, ECO) and target temperature settings. Check the wiring to the heating system. If using a gas boiler, ensure it is receiving the signal from the thermostat.
  • Child lock engaged unexpectedly: Refer to the 'Child Lock' section in Basic Operations to disable it.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact customer support.
