Q: Voice control is not working.
A: Verify that your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Yandex Alice app. Check the device name in the voice assistant app to ensure it matches the name you are using in your commands.
Q: The smart plug is unresponsive or offline.
A: Check if the smart plug is properly plugged into the wall outlet and receiving power. Ensure your Wi-Fi router is working correctly and the signal strength is adequate. Try unplugging and replugging the smart plug, then check the app for its status.
Q: Overload protection activated (power cut off).
A: The smart plug has an overcharge protection feature. If the connected appliance exceeds the maximum load of 3500W, the power will be cut off automatically. Disconnect the high-power appliance and connect one within the specified limits.

9. User Tips

  • For optimal performance, ensure your Wi-Fi router is within a reasonable range of the smart plug.
  • When setting up, confirm your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. If you have a dual-band router, temporarily disable the 5GHz band during setup if you encounter issues.

  • Take advantage of the scheduling and countdown functions to automate daily routines and enhance convenience.
