3. Setup and Installation

The TWOOC EH-2 horn features an easy, tool-free installation process using flexible silicone straps, making it adaptable to various handlebar sizes (22.2-31.8mm diameter).

Installation Steps:

  1. Prepare the Horn: Apply the anti-slip rubber pad to the bottom of the horn unit. This helps secure the horn and prevents scratching your handlebar.

  3. Attach the Strap: Fix one end of a silicone strap to the hook on the horn unit.

  5. Position the Horn: Place the horn unit on your bicycle handlebar in a convenient and accessible location. Ensure the speaker is facing forward.

  7. Secure the Strap: Wrap the silicone strap around the handlebar and fix the other end of the strap to the remaining hook on the horn unit. Adjust the strap for a firm and secure fit. The elastic silicone ensures a tight lock, preventing it from falling off even on bumpy roads.

4. Operating Instructions

To operate the TWOOC EH-2 Bicycle Electronic Horn, simply press the button located on the top of the unit. This will activate the 120dB warning sound.

Sound Effectiveness:

The horn's high decibel output is designed to effectively alert others to your presence. At 3 meters, the sound level is approximately 85dB, and at 5 meters, it is approximately 75dB, ensuring visibility and safety in various traffic conditions.

5. Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

The horn is powered by two CR2032 batteries. Standard battery life is measured at approximately 4000 continuous rings. For optimal performance and longer life, the use of Panasonic batteries is recommended.

  • To replace batteries, carefully open the battery compartment.
  • Note the positive and negative directions indicated by the logo inside the compartment and insert new CR2032 batteries accordingly.
  • The battery compartment is designed to be tight for better waterproofing. You may need to use a small tool (e.g., a flathead screwdriver) to gently pry it open.
  • After replacing the batteries, ensure the waterproof ring of the battery compartment is correctly installed to maintain its IPX4 rating.
  • Dispose of used batteries responsibly; do not throw them away with general waste.

General Care:

  • Clean the horn with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the horn to extreme temperatures or fire.
  • While the horn is IPX4 waterproof, prolonged submersion is not recommended.

6. Troubleshooting

No Sound or Weak Sound:

  • Check Batteries: Ensure the CR2032 batteries are correctly installed with the correct polarity and are not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • Battery Compartment Seal: Verify that the battery compartment is securely closed and the waterproof ring is properly seated.
  • Obstructions: Check if there are any obstructions in the speaker opening.
