  • Oiling: Refer to the full user manual for specific oiling points and frequency. Use only high-quality sewing machine oil.
  • Needle Replacement: Replace needles frequently, especially when sewing different fabric types or if the needle becomes dull or bent. Use Singer needles (size 14 for general use, size 16 for heavier fabrics like denim).
  • Storage: When not in use, cover the machine with the dust jacket to protect it from dust and debris.

4. Troubleshooting

Here are some common issues and their solutions:

  • Skipped Stitches: Ensure the needle is inserted correctly and is not bent. Use the appropriate needle size for your fabric. Re-thread the machine completely.
  • Thread Breakage: Check for correct threading, proper tension settings, and ensure the needle is not dull or damaged.
  • Fabric Puckering: Adjust thread tension, use a smaller stitch length, or use a walking foot for delicate fabrics.
  • Machine Not Starting: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in and the power switch is on. Ensure the foot pedal is connected.

For more detailed troubleshooting, consult the comprehensive user manual or contact customer support.
