4.3 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the helmet's exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use petroleum-based products, solvents, or harsh cleaners, as these can damage the helmet's finish and materials.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Visor Fogging: Ensure proper ventilation by opening the mouth vent and top vents. If fogging persists in cold or humid conditions, consider anti-fog treatments or a Pinlock-ready visor (if available as an accessory).
  • Loose Fit: If the helmet feels loose, re-check your head circumference against the size chart. A helmet should fit snugly without causing pressure points.
  • Difficulty with Flip-Up Mechanism: Ensure the mechanism is clean and free of debris. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if movement is stiff.
  • Intercom Installation: The helmet includes a Bluetooth slot, allowing for the installation of most standard intercom systems. Ensure the speakers and microphone are positioned correctly for clear audio.
