4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the boat.
- Connect the lithium battery to the boat's power connector.
- Secure the battery in place using the provided holder.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2 Antenna Installation
Screw the antenna onto the designated port on the boat.
4.3 Power On and Pairing
- Turn on the power switch on the bait boat.
- Turn on the power switch on the remote control.
- Wait for the remote control's indicator light to turn solid green, indicating successful pairing.
4.4 Pre-Operation Check
Before placing the boat in water, perform a quick check:
- Ensure the GPS icon appears on the remote control's display (GPS functionality only works outdoors).
- Briefly test the motor function using the remote control to ensure it operates normally.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Calibration Method
To ensure accurate navigation, calibrate the boat:
- Drive the boat at least 8 meters away from the shore, ensuring no obstacles or strong waves are present.
- On the remote control, press and hold the 'OK' button.
- While holding 'OK', press the 'Calibration' button.
- The boat will automatically calibrate by turning left, then right.
- Once calibration is complete, the remote control will emit a "Di Di" sound.
5.2 Anchor Point Setting (GPS)
The boat can store up to 40 GPS anchor points for fixed-point baiting and automatic return.
- After calibration, drive the boat back to the desired origin anchor point (e.g., near the shore).
- It is recommended to set point '1' as the origin. Press and hold the 'OK' button, then press the '1' button.
- The display screen on the remote will show '1' changing from flickering to constant light, indicating successful setting of the origin point.
- To set additional fixed points, drive the boat to the desired location, then press and hold 'OK' and press the corresponding number button (e.g., '2', '3', etc.). The remote can remember up to 40 points across multiple pages (e.g., point 1 on page 1 represents point 5).
- The number displayed on the remote indicates the distance between the current anchor point and the origin point.

5.3 Cruise Control Mode
For hands-free operation, use the constant speed cruise mode:
- While operating the boat forward, press and hold the "cruise control" button for 2-3 seconds.
- Upon hearing a "Di" sound, the boat has entered constant speed cruise mode and will move in a straight line without further control input.
- To exit cruise control mode, press the "cruise control" button again.

5.4 Bait Delivery
The boat features dual independent bait hoppers with electromagnetic adsorption switches:
- Fill the hoppers with your desired bait.
- Use the remote control to independently open and close each hopper at your chosen baiting location.
- The electromagnetic adsorption ensures quiet operation, minimizing disturbance to fish.

5.5 Night Operation
The boat is equipped with steering lights and a searchlight for enhanced visibility during nighttime or foggy conditions:
- The steering lights on both sides (red and white) flash alternately when turning, indicating the boat's direction.
- The bow searchlight helps illuminate the path and identify the boat's sailing direction from a distance.

6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your bait boat:
- Cleaning: After each use, rinse the boat with fresh water to remove any salt, dirt, or debris. Ensure all compartments are dry before storage.
- Battery Care: Always charge the battery fully before storage and periodically check its charge if stored for extended periods. Do not overcharge or completely discharge the battery.
- Propellers: Regularly check propellers for any entanglement (e.g., fishing lines, weeds) and remove them carefully. Inspect for damage and replace spare propellers if necessary.
- Seals: Ensure all waterproof seals and covers are clean and properly seated to prevent water ingress.
- Storage: Store the boat and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Boat not responding to remote control | Low battery in boat or remote; Loss of signal; Not paired correctly. | Check battery levels and recharge if necessary. Re-pair the remote and boat. Ensure boat is within 500m range. |
| Boat drifts or does not move in a straight line | Yaw problem; Propeller entanglement; Incorrect calibration. | Perform gyroscope automatic calibration. Check propellers for debris. Use speed fine-tuning on the remote. |
| Bait hoppers not opening/closing | Mechanism obstruction; Electronic malfunction. | Check for any physical obstructions. Ensure the electromagnetic switch is clean. |
| Low battery warning (boat) | Boat battery is low. | The hull atmosphere lights will flash, and the remote will emit a "di-di" alarm. Immediately recall the boat and replace/recharge the battery to prevent loss. |
| Lost contact reminder | Unstable environmental signal. | The ship icon on the remote display will disappear. Move closer to the boat or to an area with better signal and recall the boat as soon as possible. |

8. User Tips
- Always ensure the boat is calibrated in an open water area, free from obstacles and strong currents, to achieve the best accuracy for GPS functions.
- When setting anchor points, choose easily identifiable locations to avoid confusion during retrieval or re-baiting.
- For extended fishing sessions, consider carrying an extra charged battery to maximize usage time. The enlarged battery compartment can accommodate two batteries for double the operating time.
- Regularly check the remote control's display for battery levels of both the boat and the remote to avoid unexpected power loss.
- The boat's streamlined hull and waterproof design make it resistant to wind and waves, but always operate within safe conditions and avoid extreme weather.
