4. Setup

4.1 System Requirements

5. Operation

5.1 Starting the Software and Interface Test

  1. Turn the vehicle's ignition to the 'ON' position (do not start the engine unless required by a specific test).
  2. Launch the VAUX-COM software on your computer.

5.2 Vehicle Identification

From the main menu, select 'Diagnostics'. You can choose to identify the vehicle automatically or manually by selecting the year and model from the provided lists.

5.3 Main Diagnostic Functions

The VAUX-COM software supports various control units including Engine, Automatic Transmission, ABS, Airbag, Engine Cooling module, Instrument Cluster, Electronic Climate Control, and Body Control Unit.

  • Read and Clear Fault Codes: The program allows you to read out and clear diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). Fault codes are displayed with full status information (Present, Not present, Intermittent). You can print, save, or copy these codes to other applications.
