Troubleshooting
- No Power/Device Not Turning On: Ensure the USB plug is securely connected to a working USB power source. The device requires constant power via USB.
- No Sound/Poor Audio Quality:
- Check if the 3.5mm audio jack is fully inserted into the AUX input of your audio system.
- Verify that your audio system is set to the correct AUX input source.
- Ensure the volume on both your source device and audio system is turned up.
- Check for any loose connections.
- If experiencing a whistling sound or interference, try connecting the USB power to a different port or power adapter to rule out electrical noise.
- Cannot Pair with Bluetooth Device:
- Make sure the dongle is powered on and its indicator light is active.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your source device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Move your source device closer to the dongle (within 10 meters).
- Turn off and on the Bluetooth function on your source device, then try searching for "EB01" again.
- If previously paired, try forgetting the device ("EB01") from your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
- Hands-free Call Issues:
- Ensure the dongle is properly paired and connected.
- Check your phone's audio output settings during a call to ensure it's routed to the Bluetooth device.
- Speak clearly towards the dongle's built-in microphone.
- Is it a Transmitter or Receiver? This device is primarily a Bluetooth Receiver. It receives audio from your Bluetooth-enabled device (like a phone) and outputs it to a wired audio system (like car AUX, wired speakers). It does not transmit audio from a non-Bluetooth source to Bluetooth headphones.
User Tips
- Optimal Placement: For the best signal stability, try to place your connected phone or audio source within the 10-meter range and avoid physical obstructions between the device and the dongle.
- Car Compatibility: This dongle is compatible with most car audio systems that have both a USB port for power and a 3.5mm AUX input. If your car lacks a USB port, you will need a USB car charger adapter.
- Audio Output Strength: The audio output strength is generally good for standard car and home audio systems. If you find the audio too low, ensure all volume levels (phone, dongle, car/speaker system) are adequately adjusted.
- Single Device Connection: The dongle is designed for connection with one Bluetooth device at a time. It is not multipoint capable.
