1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your AzureWave AW-NB037H Half Mini PCI-E WiFi Bluetooth Card. This card integrates both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 functionalities into a single half-size Mini PCI-E form factor, designed for compatible laptops and devices.
2. Compatibility
The AzureWave AW-NB037H card is compatible with most laptops featuring a Half Mini PCI-E slot. This includes brands such as Acer, Dell, Asus, Toshiba, and Samsung. Important: This card is NOT compatible with HP or Lenovo laptops due to specific manufacturer whitelist restrictions. Please verify your device's compatibility before installation.
3. Package Contents
Your package should contain the following item:
- 1 x AzureWave AW-NB037H AR9285 AR5B195 AR9002WB-1NGCD Half Mini PCI-E WiFi Bluetooth Card
Note: Antennas, mounting screws, and driver CDs are typically not included and may need to be purchased separately if not already present in your device.
4. Installation Guide
Before you begin: Ensure your laptop is powered off and disconnected from any power source. Remove the battery. It is recommended to wear an anti-static wrist strap to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage to components.
- Locate the Mini PCI-E Slot: Depending on your laptop model, the Half Mini PCI-E slot is usually located under a removable panel on the bottom of the laptop, often near the RAM or hard drive. Consult your laptop's service manual for exact location.
- Remove Existing Card (if any): If there is an existing wireless card, carefully disconnect any attached antenna cables and remove the screw securing the card. The card should pop up slightly, allowing you to slide it out of the slot.
- Insert the New Card: Align the AzureWave AW-NB037H card with the Half Mini PCI-E slot. Gently push the card into the slot at a 45-degree angle until it is fully seated.
- Secure the Card: Push the card down until it is flat and secure it with the screw you removed earlier (or a new one if needed).
- Connect Antennas: Carefully connect the antenna cables to the corresponding connectors on the card. Typically, the main antenna connects to 'ANT1' and the auxiliary antenna to 'ANT2'. Ensure a snug fit.

- Reassemble Laptop: Replace the laptop's bottom panel and battery.
- Install Drivers: Power on your laptop. Windows (or your operating system) may automatically detect and install generic drivers. For optimal performance, it is highly recommended to download and install the latest drivers for the Atheros AR9285 (for Wi-Fi) and AR3011 (for Bluetooth) chipsets from your laptop manufacturer's support website or the Atheros/Qualcomm website.
