10. User Tips
- Memory Card Quality: For optimal performance and to prevent storage issues, always use a high-quality Class 10 Micro SD card from recommended brands like Lexar, Kingston, Samsung, or Toshiba. Official DDPAI memory cards are highly recommended.
- Parking Monitoring: To enable 24-hour parking monitoring, an external IPS hardwire kit is required and sold separately. This kit ensures the dash cam records while parked without draining your car battery.
- App Connection: If you experience issues connecting to the DDPAI App, ensure all necessary app permissions are granted and try turning off any VPN or security software temporarily. Resetting the device and reinstalling the app can also help.
- Video Playback: For smoother video playback, it is recommended to download the video to your phone or PC first, rather than streaming directly from the dash cam. Regularly format your memory card to maintain optimal recording performance.
- GPS Accuracy: GPS signal reception can be affected by environmental factors such as dense urban areas, underground parking, tunnels, and cloudy weather. Ensure your vehicle is in an open area for best GPS performance.
- Automatic Power On: The dash cam is designed to power on automatically when the vehicle starts. If it doesn't, and your car's cigarette lighter provides constant power, you might need to manually unplug and re-plug the USB adapter.
- Rear Camera Issues: If the rear camera is not working, check that the green indicator light is on, the bracket is securely attached, and the power cable is fully inserted into the N3 Pro's headphone jack.
