- 24H Parking Monitor: Provides 24-hour protection with Time-lapse mode. Requires an extra hardwire kit (ASIN: B08LL4L87C) for full functionality. Features low-power consumption, low voltage protection, and visual car battery management.
- Loop Recording: Ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest non-important video files.
- Realcube Image Technology: Built-in adaptive image algorithm delivers true-to-life colors and stunning detail.
- Sense Reality 2.0: High-precision gyro sensor and algorithm enhance recording with an immersive experience.
- NightVIS Technology: Based on Sony IMX415 and F1.75 aperture, combined with 7 optical lenses and software, it enhances nightscape view for ultra-clear night-time shoots.
- D2save Emergency Storage: In case of memory card error, the system automatically switches to NAND Flash storage and repairs damaged files to keep footage stored completely.
- Built-in Wi-Fi: Connects to the DDPAI App for live preview, playback, download, and editing of footage.
- GPS Tracking (GPS Version): Records location, speed, route, and time, viewable on Google/Apple Maps.

Setup & Installation
The DDPAI Z50 features an easy and quick installation process, typically taking around 20 minutes for a dual dash cam setup. Its small and compact 2.4" LCD discreet design aims to provide better driving sight without interference.
General Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Mounting Area: Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted. Ensure it's free of dust and grease.
- Apply Electrostatic Sticker: Place the electrostatic sticker on the windshield first. This helps in easy removal and prevents adhesive residue.
- Attach Dash Cam: Secure the dash cam to the electrostatic sticker using the provided 3M adhesive. The bracket is now integrated and non-detachable, offering a more secure fit.
- Connect Power: Connect the power cable from the dash cam to the car charger, then plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket. Route the cable neatly along the windshield edge and pillar.
- Install Rear Camera (Optional): If you have the dual-channel version, install the RC1 rear camera on your rear windshield. Connect it to the front dash cam using the provided 5-meter rear extension cable.
- Power On and Test: Start your vehicle. The dash cam should power on automatically. Check the screen to ensure both front and rear cameras (if applicable) are displaying correctly.
- Adjust Camera Angle: Adjust the front camera's angle (35° rotation, 15° angle) to capture the desired view of the road.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens and screen with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear footage. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
- Memory Card: Use a high-quality Class 10 or higher Micro SD card (up to 128GB recommended). Format the memory card periodically (e.g., once a month) through the dash cam settings to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption.
- Firmware Updates: Check the DDPAI app regularly for firmware updates to ensure your dash cam has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Adhesive: If you need to re-install the dash cam, you will need to replace the 3M adhesive and electrostatic sticker.
Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam Not Powering On: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the dash cam and the car charger, and that the car charger is properly inserted into the vehicle's power outlet. Check your vehicle's fuse box if the issue persists.
- Recording Issues:
- Ensure a compatible Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 128GB) is inserted correctly.
- Format the SD card regularly.
- If the card is full, loop recording should automatically overwrite older files. If not, check settings or replace the card.
- Wi-Fi Connection Problems: Make sure the dash cam's Wi-Fi is enabled. Try restarting both the dash cam and your smartphone. Ensure you are within range of the dash cam's Wi-Fi signal.
- Slow Download Speeds via Wi-Fi: The dash cam uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. For faster downloads of 4K clips, consider transferring the Micro SD card to a computer or a device with faster Wi-Fi capabilities.
- ADAS Not Functioning: Ensure you have the GPS version of the Z50. ADAS features, such as the front vehicle departure warning, only work when the front camera's recording resolution is set to 1080P or below. Check your camera settings in the app.
- Parking Monitor Not Working: The 24-hour parking monitor requires a separate hardwire kit for continuous power. Ensure the hardwire kit is correctly installed and connected.
