5. Setup Guide

5.1 Charging the Car Battery

  1. Locate the 7.4V 1500mAh Li-ion battery inside the RC car.
  2. Connect the battery to the included USB charging cable.
  3. Plug the USB charging cable into a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  4. The charging indicator light on the USB cable will show the charging status (refer to charger instructions for specific light patterns).
  5. Charging typically takes approximately 3-4 hours. Do not overcharge the battery.

5.2 Installing Remote Control Batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller.
  2. Insert 4x 1.5V AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment securely.

5.3 Pairing the Remote Control

  1. Ensure both the RC car and the remote control are turned off.
  2. Turn on the RC car.
  3. Turn on the remote control. The remote and car should automatically pair.
  4. If pairing fails, turn both devices off and repeat the process.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Remote Control Functions

  • Power ON/OFF: Use the switch to turn the remote control on or off.
  • Power Indicator: Lights up when the remote is on.
  • Throttle Trigger: Pull to accelerate forward, push to brake/reverse.
  • Steering Wheel: Rotate left or right to steer the car.
  • Turn Balance Knob: Adjusts the steering trim to ensure the car drives straight.
  • Turn Reverse Switch: Reverses the steering direction if needed.
  • Throttle Adjustment Knob: Adjusts the maximum throttle output.

6.2 Driving the RC Car

  1. Place the car on a flat surface after successful pairing.
  2. Gently pull the throttle trigger to move forward.
  3. Rotate the steering wheel to control direction.
  4. Push the throttle trigger forward to brake or reverse.
  5. The 4WD system and independent suspension allow for excellent performance on various terrains including mountain paths, rocks, sand, and roads.

6.3 LED Lights

The RC car is equipped with LED lights for enhanced visibility and realistic night driving. The lights can be switched on and off remotely using the remote control (refer to remote control diagram for specific button if available, otherwise it's typically integrated with power or a dedicated light button).

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in dirty or dusty conditions, gently clean the car with a soft brush or cloth. Avoid using water directly on electronic components.
  • Battery Care: Always disconnect the battery from the car when not in use. Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not leave batteries fully discharged for extended periods.
  • Lubrication: Periodically check moving parts for smooth operation. Apply a small amount of RC-safe lubricant to gears and bearings if necessary.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the car for any loose screws, damaged parts, or worn tires. Replace damaged parts promptly.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Car not responding:
    • Check if both the car and remote control are powered on.
    • Ensure the car battery is charged and remote control batteries are fresh.
    • Re-pair the remote control with the car.
  • Poor range or interference:
    • Ensure no other 2.4G devices are operating nearby.
    • Avoid operating near large metal structures or power lines.
  • Car pulls to one side:
    • Adjust the 'Turn Balance' trim knob on the remote control until the car drives straight.

9. User Tips

  • Splash-Proof, Not Waterproof: While the car is IPX4 splash-proof, it is not designed for full submersion in water. Avoid deep puddles or prolonged exposure to heavy rain to prevent damage to electronic components.
  • Terrain Versatility: The independent suspension and high-grip tires make this RC car highly capable on various terrains. Experiment with different environments to discover its full potential.
  • Night Driving: Utilize the built-in LED lights for exciting night-time adventures.
