6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the outdoor unit with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Weather Protection: Although the outdoor unit is weatherproof (SIP55), ensure its rain cover is properly installed to protect it from extreme weather conditions.
- Software Updates: Keep the Tuya Smart APP updated to the latest version to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Power Supply: Ensure the power supply is stable and within the specified voltage range (12V-15V DC).
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check all power connections and ensure the power adapter is correctly plugged into a working outlet. Verify the power supply unit is functioning.
- Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. Check the Wi-Fi signal strength at the doorbell's location. Restart your router and the doorbell unit. Re-attempt the app pairing process.
- Poor Video Quality: Ensure the camera lens is clean. Check your internet connection speed.
- No Two-Way Audio: Check microphone and speaker settings in the Tuya Smart APP. Ensure there is no physical obstruction to the doorbell's speaker or microphone.
- RFID Card Not Working: Ensure the RFID card is 125KHz ID type and has been properly programmed to the doorbell. Present the card directly to the card zone.
- Electric Lock Not Unlocking: Verify all wiring connections to the electric lock and power supply are correct. Check the lock's security mode (NC/NO) matches your system configuration.
- Motion Detection Not Triggering: Check motion detection sensitivity settings in the Tuya Smart APP. Ensure the detection area is correctly configured.
