7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the display and casing with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit (if used for backup) and the outdoor sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Ensure correct polarity.
- Placement: Place the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and precipitation for accurate readings. The main unit can be placed on a table or mounted on a wall.

8. Troubleshooting
- No Outdoor Reading: Check batteries in the outdoor sensor. Ensure the sensor is within range of the main unit. Press and hold the 'Channel' button on the main unit to re-initiate pairing.
- Inaccurate Readings: Ensure both units are placed in appropriate locations (sensor outdoors, main unit indoors, away from direct heat/cold sources). Allow time for readings to stabilize after initial setup or relocation.
- Time Synchronization Failure: Ensure the main unit is placed in an area with good radio signal reception (away from electronic interference). Try repositioning the unit. If persistent, set time manually.
- Display Issues: If the display is dim or flickering, check the AC power adapter connection. If using backup batteries, replace them.
9. User Tips
- For optimal backlight performance and continuous display, always use the AC power adapter. Batteries are primarily for backup.
- When placing the outdoor sensor, consider a location that is protected from direct rain and sun, but still allows for good air circulation to get accurate temperature and humidity readings.
- If you experience issues with radio-controlled time, try placing the main unit near a window overnight, as signal reception can be better during nighttime hours.
