1. Charging Station Placement
Place the charging station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter to the sides and 2 meters in front. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a wall outlet. Ensure the charging station is always powered on.
2. Initial Charging
Place the robot vacuum onto the charging station. Ensure the charging contacts on the robot align with those on the station. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. Fully charge the robot before its first use (approximately 4-5 hours).

3. Installing Side Brushes
Attach the side brushes to the corresponding posts on the bottom of the robot until they click into place.
4. Installing Dustbin or Water Tank
The robot comes with a dustbin and a water tank with an integrated mop. Choose the appropriate module for your cleaning needs:
- For Dry Vacuuming: Insert the dustbin into the robot until it locks securely.
- For Wet Mopping: Fill the water tank with clean water (do not use cleaning solutions that may clog the tank). Attach the mop pad to the water tank. Insert the water tank with the mop into the robot until it locks securely.

5. App Installation and Connection (WiFi Control)
Download the Liectroux app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot vacuum to your home WiFi network. This enables remote control, scheduling, and real-time cleaning map viewing.

6. Voice Assistant Integration
The Liectroux M7S is compatible with Alexa and Google Home. Refer to the respective voice assistant app for instructions on how to link your robot vacuum for voice control.

Operating Instructions
1. Starting/Stopping Cleaning
- Via App: Open the Liectroux app and press the 'Start' button for one-press cleaning.
- Via Robot Button: Press the power button on the robot's top panel to start or pause cleaning.
- Via Remote Control: Use the provided remote control to start, pause, or direct the robot.

2. Cleaning Modes
The Liectroux M7S offers multiple cleaning modes to suit different needs:
- Zigzag Cleaning Mode: The robot cleans in an efficient zigzag path, covering the entire area thoroughly.
- Along the Wall Cleaning: The robot cleans along the edges of rooms and furniture to ensure no corner is missed.
- Fixed Point Cleaning Mode: Focuses on a specific area for intensive cleaning.
- Make-up Cleaning: If any area is missed, the robot will return to clean it.
- Schedule Cleaning: Set specific times for the robot to clean automatically via the app.

3. Navigation and Mapping
The robot uses 2D map navigation and gyroscope technology to scan and map your home, allowing it to plan the most efficient cleaning path and avoid repeating areas. It also features intelligent partition cleaning, allowing you to define cleaning zones.

4. Obstacle Avoidance and Climbing
The robot is equipped with infrared sensors for anti-collision and ground sensors for anti-falling, preventing it from bumping into furniture or falling down stairs (detects heights above 8cm). Its shockproof resilient wheels allow it to climb obstacles and thresholds less than 1.5cm high. The twining-proof design helps prevent side brushes from getting tangled in wires.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures your Liectroux M7S operates efficiently and extends its lifespan.
1. Emptying and Cleaning the Dustbin
After each cleaning cycle, or when the dustbin is full, remove it from the robot. Open the dustbin lid and empty the contents into a trash bin. The 600ml trash box is designed for easy removal and cleaning.

2. Cleaning Filters
The dustbin contains primary and HEPA filters. Remove these filters and gently tap them to dislodge dust. For thorough cleaning, you may rinse the primary filter with water, but ensure it is completely dry before reinserting. HEPA filters should not be washed and should be replaced periodically (every 3-6 months depending on usage).
3. Cleaning the Water Tank and Mop Pad
After mopping, empty any remaining water from the tank. Remove the mop pad and wash it thoroughly. Allow both the tank and mop pad to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
4. Cleaning Side Brushes
Regularly check the side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Remove any obstructions carefully. If brushes are worn or damaged, replace them with new ones.
5. Cleaning Sensors and Charging Contacts
Wipe the robot's sensors (infrared, anti-fall) and the charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper function and charging.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Liectroux M7S, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Robot not turning on: Ensure the robot is fully charged. Check if the power button is pressed correctly.
- Robot not charging: Verify that the charging station is powered on and the robot's charging contacts are clean and properly aligned with the station.
- Robot getting stuck frequently: Clear obstacles from the cleaning path. The robot's 7.8cm compact framework helps it navigate under furniture, but ensure there are no tight spaces it cannot exit. The twining-proof feature should help with wires.
- Robot falling down stairs: Ensure the anti-falling sensors are clean and unobstructed. The sensors detect drops greater than 8cm.
- Poor cleaning performance: Empty the dustbin, clean or replace filters, and clean the side brushes. Ensure the water tank is filled and the mop pad is clean for mopping.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure your robot is within WiFi range and your WiFi network is stable. Re-pair the device if necessary following the app instructions.
- Robot not returning to charging station: Ensure the charging station is accessible and not blocked. The coordinate memory algorithm helps it find its way back.
