1. Introduction

The FNIRSI WD-01 SH201 is a versatile wall detector scanner designed to accurately locate various objects hidden behind walls, floors, and ceilings. 4.1 Charging the Device

1. Locate the Type-C charging port on the device.
2. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the device and a suitable USB power adapter (not included).

4.2 Initial Calibration

1. Place the device flat against the wall surface where you intend to scan. Ensure there are no objects, moisture, or other interference in the immediate area.
2. Press and hold the Power/Scan button. The device will perform an automatic calibration.

5.2 Selecting a Detection Mode

Press the Mode Switch Button to cycle through the available detection modes:

• Wood Detection (Stud Scan): For locating wooden studs and beams.
• Metal Detection: For locating magnetic and non-magnetic metals, including pipes and rebars.
• AC Wire Detection: For detecting live AC electrical wires.

5.3 Performing a Scan

1. Calibrate: Place the device flat against the wall and press the Power/Scan button to calibrate.
2. Select Mode: Choose the appropriate detection mode using the Mode Switch Button.
3. Scan: Slowly slide the device horizontally across the surface. Keep it flat against the wall.
4. Interpret Results:
   • The LCD screen will display the signal strength, estimated depth, and direction to the object.
   • The indicator light will change from green to yellow or red as you approach a target.
   • A continuous beep indicates the center of the detected object.
