5. Setup and Charging
5.1 Initial Battery Charge
Before first use, fully charge the walkie talkie battery. The device comes with a 2000mAh Li-ion battery.

- Desktop Charger:
Connect the dual-charging base to a power source using the provided USB charging cable and a compatible USB adapter (not included in standard package). Place the walkie talkies into the charging slots. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

- Direct USB Type-C Charging:
Open the protective cover of the Type-C charging port on the side of the walkie talkie. Insert the USB Type-C cable into the port and connect the other end to a power source (e.g., power bank, PC, car charger, wall charger). This method allows charging without removing the belt clip.

6. Basic Operation
6.1 Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment
Rotate the Power/Volume switch (8) clockwise to power on the device. Continue rotating clockwise to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.
6.2 Channel Selection
Use the Up key (5) and Down key (6) to select your desired communication channel. Ensure all radios in your group are on the same channel for effective communication.
6.3 Transmitting and Receiving
To transmit, press and hold either the PTT button (3) or the Big PTT button (12). Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to receive. The LED display (9) will indicate transmission and reception status.

6.4 Call/Weather Key
Press the Call/Weather key (2) to send a call tone to other radios on the same channel. In FRS versions, this key can also activate NOAA weather channels.

7.1 VOX (Voice Operated Exchange)
