4. Setup and Installation

This unit is a standard One Din size. Professional installation is highly recommended to avoid damage to the unit or your vehicle's electrical system. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before starting installation.

4.1 Wiring Diagram (General Guidance)

A typical wiring setup involves connecting power, ground, speaker outputs, and auxiliary inputs/outputs. Refer to the specific wiring diagram provided with your unit's power cable for exact connections. Below is a general overview:

  • Yellow Wire (B+): Connect to constant 12V power supply.
  • Red Wire (ACC): Connect to switched 12V power supply (ignition).
  • Black Wire (GND): Connect to vehicle chassis ground.
  • Speaker Wires: Connect to your vehicle's speakers (ensure correct polarity).

4.2 Rearview Camera Installation

  1. Mount the camera securely at the rear of your vehicle, typically near the license plate.

  3. Connect the camera's power wire to the vehicle's reverse light power supply (12V). This ensures the camera activates when you shift into reverse.

5. Operation

5.1 Basic Controls

  • Power Button: Press to turn on/off the unit.
  • Volume Knob: Rotate to adjust volume. Press to mute/unmute.
  • Mode Button: Cycle through different modes (Radio, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, etc.).
  • Touch Screen: Navigate menus and control functions by touching the screen icons.

5.2 Bluetooth Function

  1. Turn on the unit and select the Bluetooth mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for available devices.

5.4 Media Playback (USB/AUX)

  • USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port. The unit will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing compatible audio/video files.
  • AUX Input: Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX-IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable. Select AUX mode on the unit.

5.5 Rear View Camera Display

When the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear, the unit will automatically display the rearview camera feed on the screen, assisting with parking maneuvers.

5.6 Steering Wheel Control

If connected and configured, use the buttons on your steering wheel to control functions such as volume, track skipping, and mode selection. Refer to your vehicle's manual for steering wheel control setup if needed.

6. Maintenance
