4. Product Overview

4.1. Ports and Connections

  • HDMI Output: Connects to your TV or display for video and audio. Supports up to 4Kx2K display.
  • USB Interface: Two high-speed USB 2.0 ports for connecting U disks, external hard drives, or other USB peripherals.
  • AV Output: A 3-in-1 port for connecting to older televisions using composite video and stereo audio cables.
  • LAN (RJ45): Ethernet port for wired network connection (10M/100M).
  • DC 12V/2A: Power input port.

5. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to set up your D9 Smart TV Box:

5.1. Connecting to Your TV

  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on the D9 Smart TV Box.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an available HDMI input port on your television. Note the HDMI input number (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2).
  3. If using an older TV, connect the AV cable (not included, if applicable) from the AV output port on the TV box to the corresponding input ports on your TV.

5.2. Powering On

  1. Connect the provided 12V/1A power adapter to the DC 12V/2A port on the TV box.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
  3. Turn on your television and select the correct HDMI input source that corresponds to where you connected the TV box.
  4. The TV box should automatically power on and display the boot-up screen.

5.3. Initial Configuration

  1. Upon first boot, you may be prompted to select your preferred language. Use the remote control to navigate and select.
  2. Network Connection:
    • Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi, select your network, enter the password, and connect. The device supports 2.4G and 5.8G Wi-Fi.
    • Ethernet: If you connected an Ethernet cable, the device should automatically detect and connect to the wired network.
  3. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the initial setup, including time zone and Google account login (optional, but recommended for app access).
