  1. Headless Mode (Short Press) / One Key Return (Long Press): Short press to activate/deactivate headless mode. Long press to initiate one-key return.
  2. Rollover Mode: Press to enter rollover mode, then control the right joystick to perform a roll.
  3. Fine-tune: Press and hold the joystick vertically downwards, and control the right joystick to fine-tune the drone's flight.
  4. Speed Gear Switch: Press the joystick vertically down to switch between high, middle, and low-speed gears.
  5. Rotation: Activates rotation function.
  6. Power Switch: Turns the remote controller on/off.
  7. Indicator Light: Displays the remote controller's status.

5.2 Basic Flight Operations

  • Take-off: After pairing, gently push the left joystick (throttle) up to take off.
  • Landing: Gently pull the left joystick (throttle) down to land.
  • Directional Control: Use the right joystick to control forward, backward, left, and right movement.
  • Turning: Use the left joystick (left/right) to rotate the drone.

5.3 Special Features

  • Altitude Hold Mode: The drone automatically recognizes and locks its altitude after taking off, allowing it to hover steadily without further operation. This feature ensures stable flight, especially for beginners.
  • Diagram showing the Altitude Hold Mode, where the drone automatically maintains its height, and Speed Adjustment with low, middle, and high-speed settings.

Figure 4: Altitude Hold Mode and Speed Adjustment

  • Headless Mode: In headless mode, the drone's orientation does not matter. The forward direction is always the direction the remote controller is facing when headless mode is activated. This simplifies control, preventing disorientation.
  • Diagram explaining Headless Mode with a compass overlay, indicating that the drone's orientation doesn't matter for control.

  • One Key Return: A long press of the designated button on the remote controller will initiate the drone's return to its take-off point.

5.4 Safety Guidelines

  • Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. Recommended age is 14+ years.
  • Always operate the drone in open areas, away from people, animals, and obstacles.
  • Ensure the drone battery is fully charged before each flight.
  • Do not fly in strong winds or adverse weather conditions.
  • The propeller protection design helps prevent hands from being scratched by rapidly rotating blades and protects the drone from damage when flying indoors.
  • The drone is made of environment-friendly, durable plastic shells, providing good tactility, toughness, and crash resistance.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the drone and remote controller. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Propeller Replacement: If a propeller is damaged, use the provided screwdriver to carefully remove it and replace it with a spare propeller. Ensure the new propeller is installed correctly.
  • Battery Care: Store the Lipo battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Drone not responding: Ensure both the drone and remote controller are powered on and properly paired. Check remote controller batteries.
  • Unstable flight: Recalibrate the drone by placing it on a flat surface and following the pairing instructions. Ensure propellers are not damaged and are installed correctly.
  • Short flight time: Ensure the drone battery is fully charged. Battery performance may degrade over time; consider replacing if flight time significantly decreases.
  • Drone drifts: Use the fine-tuning function on the remote controller to adjust for any drifting.

8. User Tips

  • The Altitude Hold feature works very well, providing a perfect and stable hover, which is great for learning to fly.
  • The drone offers stable and easy flight characteristics, making it enjoyable for beginners to pick up quickly.
  • Practice in an open indoor space initially to get accustomed to the controls before attempting outdoor flights.
