5. Setup
5.1 Physical Installation
The T99 Dash Cam is designed for dashboard installation. It supports either a center console base or a special mount for installation.

- Ensure the vehicle engine is off.
- Install the car DVR with the center console base or special mount in a suitable position on your dashboard, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
- Lay the power line along the edge of the windshield to the fuse box on the car.
5.2 Wiring Connection
The T99 supports 4 cameras (front, rear, left, right) for simultaneous recording. Proper wiring is crucial for full functionality.

Power Cable Connections:
- Yellow wire (B+): Connect to a constant 12V power source in the car's fuse box (always on).
- Red wire (ACC): Connect to an ignition-switched 12V power source in the car's fuse box (on when engine is running).
- Black wire (GND): Connect to a ground point on the car chassis.
Camera Connections:
- CH1: Connects with the front camera.
- CH2: Connects with the rear camera.
- CH3: Connects with the left camera.
- CH4: Connects with the right camera.
Reversing Cable Connections:
- Blue wire (CH3): Connects to the left turn light signal in the car fuse box.
- Green wire (CH2): Connects to the positive end of the back-up lamp.
- Gray wire (CH4): Connects to the right turn light signal in the car fuse box.
Important: Ensure all camera and power cables are connected correctly before turning on the device. Test the 12V power sources with a multi-meter to confirm correct connections.
5.3 SIM Card and SD Card Installation

- SIM Card Slot: Insert a 3G/4G SIM card into the designated slot. Ensure the SIM card supports the specified network bands (2G GSM: B5/B3/B8; WCDMA: B1/B5/B8; 3G TDD-LTE: B38/B39/B40/B41; 4G FDD-LTE: B1/B3/B5/B8). The SIM card slot is locked.
- SD Card Slot: Insert a Micro SD card (Class 10 or above, up to 128GB) into the TF card slot for recording storage.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Screen Saver
- Power Key: Long press to boot the car DVR or turn it on/off. Short press to enter the screen saver.
- Reset Hole: Use a pin to press the reset hole for a factory default reset.
6.2 GPS Navigation
The device supports various GPS applications. You can download your preferred GPS app from the Google Play Store. The system supports 2D/3D map data.

The device comes with pre-installed offline maps based on your region (e.g., Sygic for most countries, Navitel for Russian-speaking countries). Maps can be updated annually by contacting support.
6.3 Recording Functions
- Automatic Recording: When an SD card is inserted and the DVR is powered on, all 4 cameras will automatically begin recording.
- Loop Recording: The device continuously records, overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
- G-Sensor: In case of sudden acceleration, braking, or collisions, the G-Sensor will automatically detect the event and protect the corresponding video footage from being overwritten.
- Recording Time: Recording time varies by SD card size: 32GB (approx. 30 minutes), 64GB (approx. 140 minutes), 128GB (approx. 300 minutes).

6.4 24H Parking Monitor
When connected via hardwire, the device can monitor your vehicle 24 hours a day. If an impact or collision is detected while parked, the device will automatically turn on and record for a few seconds.

6.5 Remote Monitoring
With the CarKeeper app on your smartphone, you can remotely track your car's location, capture images, and view video clips from anywhere, anytime, provided the DVR is connected to the internet via its 4G SIM card.

6.6 Bluetooth Hands-Free Function
Pair your smartphone with the DVR via Bluetooth (BT4.1) to make and receive calls directly from the dash cam using its built-in microphone and speaker. You can also play music from your phone through the DVR.
6.7 FM Transmitter
The FM transmitter allows you to sync the DVR's audio with your car's radio. Adjust the DVR's FM frequency to match your car radio's frequency (e.g., 100.4 MHz). Audio played on the DVR will then be output through your car's speakers. Note: When this function is active, there will be no sound from the DVR's internal speaker.

6.8 Two-way Voice Communication
This feature allows you to communicate with people inside your car from your smartphone, enhancing connectivity and safety.

6.9 Reverse Camera Function
When the car is shifted into reverse gear, the dash cam automatically switches to display the back camera's image with parking guidelines, assisting with safe parking.
