7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your charger, refer to the following common problems and solutions.

Figure 10: AI Intelligent Multiple Protection
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Charger not turning on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and the charger.
- Ensure the power outlet is functional.
- 'ERO' (Error) displayed:
- Reverse Polarity: Disconnect the battery clips and reconnect them correctly (Red+ to positive, Black- to negative). The charger has reverse polarity protection.
- Short Circuit: Check for any short circuits in the battery connections or cables. The charger has output short protection.
- Non-Battery Link: Ensure the battery clips are securely connected to the battery terminals.
- Faulty Battery: The battery may be severely damaged or beyond repair. Try charging a different battery to confirm charger functionality.
- Charger gets hot during operation:
- Some heat is normal during charging. The charger has a built-in cooling fan and over-temperature protection (thermal protect: 65°C +/- 5°C).
- Ensure the charger's ventilation openings are not blocked and the charging area is well-ventilated.
- Battery not charging or charging slowly:
- Verify that the correct charging mode is selected for your battery type.
- Check battery connections for corrosion or looseness.
- The battery may be heavily discharged or sulfated. Try using the 'REPAIR' mode if applicable.
- Ensure the battery capacity is within the charger's range (4-120Ah).

9. User Tips
Maximize your charger's performance and battery life with these helpful tips.
- Regular Maintenance: Even if your vehicle is not in regular use, connect the charger periodically to keep the battery topped up and prevent deep discharge, especially during colder months.
- Check Connections: Always ensure the battery clamps are clean and tightly secured to the battery terminals for optimal charging efficiency and safety.
- Use Repair Mode Wisely: The 'REPAIR' mode is designed for specific battery issues. While it can help, it's not a guaranteed fix for all damaged batteries. If a battery consistently fails to hold a charge after repair attempts, it may need replacement.
- Ventilation is Key: Always charge batteries in a well-ventilated area to disperse any gases produced during charging.
- Monitor Display: Pay attention to the charger's LED display. 'FUL' indicates a full charge, while 'ERO' signals a problem that needs immediate attention.
