2. CarPlay & Android Auto
The dash cam supports both wireless and wired connections for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone. This enables access to navigation, music, messages, and other apps directly on the dash cam's screen.
- Wireless Connection: Pair your mobile phone via Bluetooth first, then connect to the device's WiFi signal. CarPlay/Android Auto will automatically launch.
- Wired Connection: Use a data-transfer-capable USB cable to connect your phone. This is especially useful for older Android phones that may not support wireless screen projection.
Note: Huawei mobile phones are currently not supported for CarPlay/Android Auto functionality.

3. Dash Cam Recording
The device features a 4K (3840x2160P) front camera and an optional 1080P AHD rearview camera, capturing clear and detailed footage. It uses H.265 video encoding for efficient storage and TS format for power-off protection, ensuring video files are saved even during sudden power loss.
- Seamless Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records, overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
- 3-Axis G-Sensor: Automatically detects sudden movements or impacts and locks the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten.
- SD Card Support: Supports up to 128GB U3 (High Speed) TF cards.

4. FM Transmission + AUX Audio Output
Enjoy audio through your car's speakers using two methods:
- FM Transmitter: The built-in dual-channel FM transmitter allows you to broadcast audio to your car's FM radio. Simply pair it once, and it will automatically connect. Adjust your car radio to a blank station and set the dash cam's FM frequency to match.
- AUX Output: Connect the provided AUX cable from the dash cam's "audio" port to your car's AUX-IN port for high-fidelity, low-noise stereo sound.

5. GPS Navigation
While the dash cam itself does not have pre-installed GPS navigation software, it can utilize your phone's GPS capabilities through CarPlay or Android Auto. In CarPlay mode, you can use voice commands (Siri) to set destinations and plan routes.
With the optional external GPS module, the device can automatically correct time, display vehicle speed, and record coordinates and track data. This information can be reviewed during video playback in the "Roadcam" app.

6. ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems)
The dash cam includes ADAS features to enhance driving safety:
- LDWS (Lane Departure Warning System): Alerts you if your vehicle deviates from its lane. If using a GPS antenna, this function triggers at or above 50 km/h. Without a GPS antenna, there are no speed requirements.
- FCW (Forward Collision Warning): Warns you of potential front-end collisions.
- Front Vehicle Starting Reminder System: Alerts you when the vehicle in front starts moving (requires optional GPS module for normal function).

7. Real-Time Reverse View
When reversing, the system automatically displays a 1080P full-screen reverse image from the rear camera with guide lines. You can adjust the preview angle by sliding the left side of the screen to control the position of the guide line, aiding in accurate and safe parking.

8. 24H Parking Monitoring (Optional)
With an additional hardware cable (buck line, purchased separately), you can connect the dash cam directly to your vehicle's battery. This provides a constant power supply, allowing the dash cam to continue recording and monitoring your vehicle even when the ignition is off, offering 24-hour parking surveillance.

User Tips
- When using the GPS Antenna, the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) function will trigger at or above 50 km/h. Without the GPS Antenna, there are no speed requirements for LDWS.
- The device supports both newer Android 10+ phones and older Android phones for wired Android Auto, addressing compatibility issues for older devices.
- The dash cam automatically categorizes and stores videos from both front and rear cameras separately on the SD card, making it easy to find specific footage.
- The wide-angle lenses provide extensive coverage, capturing more of the surroundings than expected, which is beneficial for surveillance and incident recording.
- The rearview camera significantly improves safety and ease when backing up, offering a clear view of the rear area without needing to physically turn around.
- The ADAS features, including lane departure and front collision alerts, operate automatically without requiring complex setup or calibration. The system intelligently detects lanes and provides necessary warnings.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Imagebon Dash Cam, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
No Sound from the Device
- Ensure the AUX cable is properly inserted and the FM transmitter switch is turned off.
- If the FM transmitter switch is on, the device's internal speaker will be muted, as audio is being sent to your car's radio.
Screen Not Lighting Up
- Verify that the power supply is correctly connected. The Type-C port (next to the AV port) should be connected to the car charger, and the car charger should be securely plugged into your vehicle's 12V/24V power outlet.
- If the power is confirmed, but the screen remains off, locate the reset button on the back of the device and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
- If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Contact customer service for potential software upgrades.
Rear Camera Picture is Shaking
- Ensure the rear camera cable is properly plugged into the AV port. It is crucial to connect the rear camera first, then power on the main unit.
- Restart the device after checking the connection.
Compatibility with Other Rear Cameras
- The Imagebon Dash Cam only supports its proprietary rear camera. Rear cameras from other brands or original car cameras are not compatible with this device.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Imagebon Dash Cam, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and camera lenses. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surfaces.
- Temperature: Operate and store the device within the specified temperature ranges (-20℃ to 70℃ for operation, -30℃ to 80℃ for storage). Extreme temperatures can affect performance and battery life (though this model has no internal battery, extreme heat can still damage components).
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are securely tucked away and not pinched or exposed to excessive wear and tear.
- Software Updates: Periodically check for firmware updates from the manufacturer to ensure your device has the latest features and bug fixes.
- Memory Card: Regularly format your TF card (e.g., once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important videos before formatting.
