5. Setup & Installation
5.1 DIN Rail Mounting
The timer switch is designed for easy DIN-Rail mounting. Simply clip it onto a standard DIN rail in your electrical panel.

5.2 Wiring Diagram
Connect the timer switch according to the following diagrams. Ensure correct input voltage (N for Neutral, L for Live) and output connections (NC for Normally Closed, NO for Normally Open, and Common).

5.3 Initial Power-up and Reset
Upon initial power-up or if the display is blank, the internal battery may need charging. The display should activate shortly after power is applied. To clear any previous settings and ensure proper operation, press the 'RESET' button using a thin, non-conductive object (e.g., a toothpick). The display will show '0:00' and 'AUTO'.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Controls Overview
The timer features an LCD screen and several buttons for operation:
- ON indicator: Shows when the timer is active.
- LCD Screen: Displays time, day, and program status.
- Timer button (P): Used to enter and navigate program settings.
- Clock button: Used for setting the current time.
- D+ (Day+): Adjusts the day of the week.
- H+ (Hour+): Adjusts the hour.
- M+ (Minute+): Adjusts the minute.
- RESET button: Resets all settings to default.
- MANUAL button: Cycles through ON, AUTO, and OFF modes.
6.2 Time Adjustment
To set the current time:
- First, ensure the clock display is consistent. If recalibration is needed, hold down the 'Clock' button.
- While holding 'Clock', press 'D+' to adjust the day of the week.
- While holding 'Clock', press 'H+' to adjust the hour.
- While holding 'Clock', press 'M+' to adjust the minute.
- Release all buttons once the accurate time is set.
6.3 Timer Setting (ON/OFF Programs)
The timer supports up to 18 ON/OFF program settings. Follow these steps for each program:
- Set ON Time: Press the 'Timer' button (P) once. '1ON' will appear on the bottom left of the screen. Use 'D+', 'H+', and 'M+' buttons to set the desired ON time and day(s).
- Set OFF Time: Press the 'Timer' button (P) again. '1OFF' will appear. Use 'D+', 'H+', and 'M+' buttons to set the desired OFF time and day(s). The shutdown date must correspond to the opening date.
- Set Additional Programs: Continue pressing the 'Timer' button (P) to cycle through '2ON', '2OFF', '3ON', '3OFF', up to '18ON', '18OFF'. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each program.
- Clear Unused Programs: If you do not need all 18 programs, press the 'RESET' button while viewing an unused program slot to clear it. The display will show '--:--' instead of '00:00'.

6.4 Manual Operation (ON/AUTO/OFF)
Press the 'MANUAL' button to cycle through the operating modes:
- ON: The output is continuously ON, overriding programmed settings.
- AUTO: The timer operates according to the programmed ON/OFF schedules.
- OFF: The output is continuously OFF, overriding programmed settings.
6.5 Intelligent Cycle System
The timer's intelligent cycle system allows for flexible scheduling, enabling the switch time to be cycled daily or weekly, with precise control over the timing.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery: The internal lithium battery has a power reserve of approximately 3 years. It is not user-replaceable. If the display remains blank after prolonged power connection, the unit may need servicing or replacement.
- Inspection: Periodically check wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or damage.
8. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank: Ensure the device is properly powered. The internal lithium battery may need charging; leave the device connected to power for a few hours. If still blank, the battery may be depleted or the unit faulty.
- Timer not switching ON/OFF as programmed:
- Check if the timer is in 'AUTO' mode (not 'ON' or 'OFF' manual override).
- Verify that the programmed times and days are correctly set.
- Ensure any unused program slots are cleared (displaying '--:--').
- Confirm the current time and day are accurately set on the timer.
- Incorrect time display: Recalibrate the time as described in Section 6.2. The device has an auto time error correction of ±30 seconds weekly, but significant drift may indicate an issue.
- Device not responding to button presses: Try performing a 'RESET' using a thin object. If the issue persists, the device may be faulty.
- Input/Output Voltage Compatibility: Ensure that both the input and output voltages are compatible with the specific model of the timer switch you are using. For example, if you have a 220V AC model, ensure both input power and the connected load are rated for 220V AC.
9. User Tips
- Voltage Verification: Always double-check the voltage rating of your specific timer model and ensure it matches your application's input and output requirements to prevent damage.
- Program Clearing: When setting programs, make sure to clear any unused program slots by pressing the 'RESET' button on that specific program. This prevents unintended operations from default '00:00' settings.
- Convex Buttons: The timer features convex buttons designed to prevent accidental operation. Use firm, deliberate presses when setting programs or adjusting time.
- LCD Readability: The LCD display provides clear and intuitive data. Ensure good lighting conditions for optimal readability during programming.
