Maintenance
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and moisture.
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners on the device.
- The internal lithium battery provides power reserve for up to 3 years. If the display is blank or settings are lost frequently, the battery may need replacement (professional service recommended).
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Device does not power on / Display is blank | No power supply; Internal battery depleted. | Check power connections. If power is present, the internal lithium battery might be depleted; consider professional service for battery replacement. |
| Programmed events not activating | Incorrect programming; Device in manual ON/OFF mode; Wiring issue. | Review programming steps carefully (Figure 8). Ensure the device is in AUTO mode (check display). Verify wiring connections (Figures 5, 6, 7). |
| Time display is incorrect | Time not set correctly; Hysteresis. | Reset the device and set the current time. The device has an auto time error correction of ±30 seconds weekly. |
| Relay does not switch load (as reported in Q&A) | Wiring error; Overload; Internal fault. | Double-check all wiring according to the diagrams. Ensure the connected load does not exceed the specified load capacity (30A resistive, 25A lagging, 4.5KW lamp load). If the issue persists, contact support. |
User Tips
- When setting the time or programming, use a small, non-conductive tool (like a pen tip) to press the recessed buttons to avoid accidental presses.
- If you experience issues with the relay not switching, first try a full reset of the device and re-program your settings. This can often resolve minor glitches.
- For applications requiring precise timing, be aware of the ±30 seconds weekly hysteresis and adjust programming if necessary for critical operations.
Warranty and Support
