4. Setup

4.1 Initial Preparation

  1. Remove Protective Films: Before first use, ensure all protective films are removed from the device.

4.2 Connecting the Laser Module

  1. Connect to Motherboard: Connect the laser module to the corresponding interface on your motherboard.

4.3 Adapter Board Instructions

The adapter board is used to work with the NEJE laser module. It provides multiple input options for control signals and power.

  • Green Box: Output connection to the NEJE laser module.
  • Red Box (Input A, B, C): Power (DC 12V, 2A/3A/4A) and Signal (TTL, GND) input. Choose one of the three input options (A, B, or C) based on your control board (e.g., GRBL). The GND pin of your control board must connect to the adapter GND pin.
  • Yellow Box (Test Button): Press this button to turn the laser on at full power for testing purposes.

4.4 Digital Tube Display Test Board

The digital tube display test board allows you to monitor temperature and power, and provides PMW and TTL inputs.

5. Operation

5.1 Adjusting Focus

5.2 Air Assist

For enhanced cutting performance and cleaner edges, especially with thicker materials, air assist is recommended. The NEJE A40630 supports air assist with a pressure range of 0.6–1.5 Mpa.
