7. Troubleshooting
- Q: Some barcodes cannot be read. Why?
- A: This can occur if barcodes are dirty, unclear, or if a specific barcode type is not activated. Ensure the barcode is clean and clearly visible. If the issue persists, you may need to activate the specific barcode type in the scanner's settings. Refer to the full user manual or contact customer support for assistance in activating specific barcode types.
- Q: Is there a way to add or remove an 'Enter' suffix after scanning?
- A: Yes, this setting can typically be configured using special 'Common Function Barcodes' found in the full user manual. Scan the appropriate barcode to enable or disable the 'Enter' suffix. If you cannot locate these barcodes, contact customer support.
- Q: The data cannot be sent to my computer. Why?
- A: Check if the scanner is in inventory mode. In this mode, scans are stored internally and not immediately transmitted. To send stored data, you need to scan the 'Manual data upload' barcode. Ensure the scanner is properly connected via 2.4G or Bluetooth and within range.
- Q: How to solve messy code problems encountered while using other foreign languages?
- A: The default language is English. To resolve messy code issues with other languages, refer to the 'Language Setting' chapter in the full user manual to change the setting accordingly.
8. User Tips
- For optimal performance, keep the scanner's lens clean and free from smudges.
- When scanning barcodes from screens, ensure the screen brightness is adequate and avoid glare.
- Periodically check for firmware updates from the manufacturer's website to ensure the best compatibility and features.
- Utilize the charging cradle for convenient charging and to maintain a stable 2.4G wireless connection.
9. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to clean the scanner's exterior and scanning window. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For prolonged storage, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%). Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
10. Warranty and Support
