Setup

Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the device. The SanSui F22 uses a TYPE-C charging interface.

  1. Connect the provided TYPE-C data cable to the charging port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a DC 5V/1A power source (e.g., a USB wall adapter or computer USB port).
  3. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge provides over 8 hours of endurance.

Power On/Off

Locate the power button on the device. Press and hold to power on or off.

Operating Instructions

Volume Adjustment

Adjust the volume using the wheel-type volume control knob, typically located on the side of the device.

FM Radio Mode

The F22 features a 360-degree rotating rod antenna for enhanced FM reception (70-108MHz).

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal signal reception.
  2. Switch to FM radio mode using the mode button (M).
  3. The device supports automatic radio receiver functionality. Use the digital number keys to directly select a station or the navigation buttons to scan.

Bluetooth Playback

Connect your F22 speaker to a Bluetooth-enabled device for wireless audio streaming.

  1. Switch the speaker to Bluetooth mode using the mode button (M). The display will show 'BLUE' or a similar indicator.
  2. On your smartphone or other device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select 'SANSUI F22' (or similar) from the list to pair.
  4. Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the speaker.

USB Drive and TF Card Playback

The F22 supports playing lossless music files directly from a USB drive or TF (MicroSD) card.

  1. Insert a USB drive into the USB port or a TF card into the TF card slot.
  2. The speaker should automatically switch to the corresponding playback mode. If not, press the mode button (M) to select it.
  3. Use the navigation buttons (previous/next track) to control playback. The digital number keys allow for direct song selection.
  4. The device supports pause and single cycle playback functions.

Recording Function

The F22 allows for one-button recording.

  1. Ensure a TF card or USB drive is inserted to save recordings.
  2. Press the 'Record' button (labeled with a microphone icon or Chinese characters for 'Record') to start recording.
  3. Press the 'Record' button again to stop recording.
  4. To delete recordings, use the 'Delete' button (labeled with a trash can icon or Chinese characters for 'Delete').

Headset Function

Connect headphones for private listening.

  1. Plug your 3.5mm headphones into the headset jack on the side of the speaker.
  2. Audio will automatically switch from the speaker to the headphones.

Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

No power / Device won't turn on:
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the TYPE-C cable and allow it to charge for a period before attempting to power on again.
Poor FM radio reception:
Fully extend the telescopic antenna. Try moving to a different location to improve signal strength. Perform an automatic station scan.
Bluetooth not connecting:
Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable. Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your connecting device and that it is within the 10-20m maximum wireless range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the devices.
USB/TF card not playing:
Ensure the USB drive or TF card is inserted correctly and contains compatible audio files (e.g., MP3). Check that the device is in the correct playback mode.
