8. User Tips

  • Neutral Wire: This smart switch requires a neutral wire for operation. Ensure your wiring setup includes a neutral wire before installation.
  • Wi-Fi Network: The device operates on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your router is configured to support this frequency. While Bluetooth assists with faster pairing, a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection is essential for full smart functionality and remote control.
  • Power Load: The maximum load current is 16A. For LED lighting, the maximum load is 150W. Ensure the connected appliance's power consumption does not exceed these limits. For example, a 550W water pump is well within the 16A capacity for typical household voltages (e.g., 100V-240V).
  • App Compatibility: The switch is designed to work seamlessly with the Tuya Smart and Smart Life applications.
  • Single Channel: This module is a single-channel switch, meaning it controls one circuit.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Device Not Connecting/Pairing:
    • Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.
    • Verify your Wi-Fi password is correct.
    • Make sure the device is in pairing mode (buzzer sound or flashing LED). If not, try manually activating pairing mode (long press button for 5s, or toggle connected switch 10 times, or power cycle 3 times).
    • Check that your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled during the pairing process.
    • Move the device closer to your Wi-Fi router during pairing.
  • Voice Control Not Working:
    • Ensure your Tuya Smart/Smart Life account is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Home app.
    • Check the device name in the app and use that exact name in your voice commands.
    • Verify your voice assistant device is connected to the internet.
  • Switch Not Responding:
    • Check the power supply to the module.
    • Verify your Wi-Fi network is active and the module is connected.
    • Restart the module by turning off and on the power at the circuit breaker.

10. Maintenance

  • Keep the device clean and dry.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. Contact a qualified professional for assistance.

11. Warranty and Support
