5. Setup
5.1 Initial Power On
- Unpack your LeoBook16S and place it on a stable, flat surface.
- Connect the DC charger to the laptop's DC power input port and then to a power outlet.
- Open the laptop lid.
- Press the independent power button located on the top right of the keyboard to turn on the laptop.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows 11 setup, including language, region, network connection, and user account creation.

5.2 Connecting to a Network
Your LeoBook16S supports both Wi-Fi and wired Ethernet connections.
- Wi-Fi: During initial setup or via Windows settings, select your desired Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Ethernet: Connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port on the side of the laptop.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Display
The 16-inch 2.5K UHD IPS display provides a clear and vibrant visual experience. The laptop features a 180° screen flip angle for flexible viewing.

6.2 Keyboard and Touchpad

6.3 Camera Privacy
The integrated camera features a physical privacy lens cover. Slide the cover to the left or right to open or close the camera for enhanced privacy.

7.1 Cleaning
- Always power off the laptop and disconnect the charger before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner for the display.
- For the keyboard and chassis, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
7.2 Battery Care
- To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Store the laptop in a cool, dry place if not used for extended periods, with the battery charged to around 50-70%.
- The laptop supports PD65W fast charging. Use the provided charger or a compatible PD charger for optimal charging.
7.3 Storage Expansion
The LeoBook16S features expandable storage with two SSD card slots, allowing you to upgrade your storage capacity up to 2TB SSD.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LeoBook16S, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Laptop does not power on:
Ensure the charger is securely connected to both the laptop and a working power outlet. Check if the power button is pressed correctly. If the battery is completely drained, it may take a few minutes of charging before the laptop can power on. - Screen is blank or black:
Check if the laptop is powered on. Try adjusting the display brightness. If connected to an external monitor, ensure the correct display output is selected (Fn + Fx key combination, where Fx is the display toggle key). - Wi-Fi connection issues:
Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings. Restart your router and the laptop. Check if other devices can connect to the same Wi-Fi network. - Slow performance:
Close unnecessary applications. Check for background processes consuming high CPU or RAM. Ensure Windows is up to date. Consider running a disk cleanup. - Keyboard or touchpad not responding:
Restart the laptop. Ensure no external devices are interfering. Check Windows device manager for driver issues.

- Type-C Charging: The LeoBook16S supports charging via its Type-C port using a compatible PD65W (Power Delivery) charger. This offers flexibility for charging with universal Type-C power adapters.
- Storage Management: Regularly check your SSD storage to ensure sufficient free space for optimal performance. Utilize the expandable SSD slots if you require more storage.
- Software Updates: Keep your Windows operating system and drivers updated to ensure security and performance.
