3. Setup Guide
3.1 Camera Installation
The cameras are designed for both wall and ceiling mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera.

3.2 System Connection (POE)
This system utilizes Power Over Ethernet (POE) technology, simplifying installation as cameras receive power and data through a single Ethernet cable from the NVR.
- Connect Cameras to NVR: Connect each POE camera to an available POE port on the NVR using the provided network cables. The NVR will supply power to the cameras.
- Connect NVR to Network: Connect the NVR's Uplink port to your router or network switch using an Ethernet cable. This enables remote access and internet connectivity.
- Connect Monitor to NVR: Connect a monitor to the NVR using either the VGA or HD Port for local viewing and configuration.
- Connect Power Supply: Plug the NVR's power adapter into a power outlet.
- Connect USB Mouse: Plug the USB mouse into the NVR's USB port for navigation.

The system supports cable transmission distances of up to 100 meters, offering flexibility in camera placement.

3.3 Hard Drive Installation (Optional)
If you purchased the system without a pre-installed HDD, you can install one yourself. The NVR supports up to 14TB HDD/SSD (2.5-inch SSD, 2.5-inch HDD, 3.5-inch HDD).

3.4 Mobile App Setup
For remote viewing, download the XMEye APP (available on Apple App Store / Google Play). Scan the QR code provided in the manual or on the NVR to easily add your device and enjoy live view.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 PTZ Control
Control the Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) functions of your cameras directly from the mobile application. The cameras support 355° horizontal pan and 90° vertical tilt rotation.

4.2 Smart Human Auto Tracking
When human motion is detected, the camera will automatically track the subject. After the human leaves the camera's field of view, the camera will return to a pre-set "daemon position" to continue monitoring your designated area.

4.3 AI Human Detection & Alerts
The system uses AI to detect human movement, reducing false alarms. When motion is detected in a designated area, the NVR records footage, and alarm messages are pushed to your phone app. You can customize alarm sounds and set specific alert areas.

4.4 Two-Way Audio Communication
Each camera is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker, allowing for real-time two-way audio communication through the mobile app. This enables you to speak to visitors or deter intruders remotely.

4.5 Night Vision Modes
The system offers three night vision modes:
- Day Vision: Standard daytime recording.
- IR Night Vision: Infrared black and white vision for low-light conditions.
- Full Color Night Vision: Utilizes white LEDs to provide full-color images in the dark, with an optional red and blue flashing light alert.

4.6 Video Playback
Review recorded footage using the smart playback feature. You can customize the searching area and speed up unimportant video segments to quickly find relevant events.

4.7 Remote Access
Access your camera system from anywhere, anytime, using the P2P technology. View live feeds or recorded footage on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Camera Durability
The cameras are IP66 waterproof, designed to withstand various outdoor conditions, including rain, snow, and extreme temperatures (-30℃ to 50℃). This ensures effective operation in tough environments.

5.2 General Care
- Regularly check cable connections for any signs of wear or damage.
- Keep camera lenses clean for optimal image clarity. Use a soft, dry cloth.
- Ensure the NVR is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
- Periodically check for firmware updates for both the NVR and cameras to ensure optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Common Issues & Solutions
- Q: How to disable the blue/red LED alert?
- A: Access the camera settings via the mobile app or NVR interface. Navigate to the "Intelligent Alarm" or "Alarm Output" section to find options for disabling or customizing the LED alerts.
- Q: Camera signal is weak or disappears from the monitor at a distance.
- A: Ensure that the network cables are of good quality and properly connected. While the system supports up to 100m, environmental factors can affect signal strength. Consider using a POE extender or ensuring cables are not damaged.
- Q: Can the NVR support a POE switch?
- A: Yes, the NVR can be extended to support more cameras (e.g., 16 cameras) by connecting an external 8CH POE switch to the NVR's Uplink port. This allows you to connect additional cameras to the POE switch, which then connects to the NVR.
- Q: How to adjust the camera position to stay fixed?
- A: For PTZ cameras, you can set "daemon positions" or "presets" via the mobile app. After auto-tracking, the camera will return to this pre-set position. Ensure auto-tracking is configured correctly if you want it to return to a specific spot.
