5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the device on or off.

5.2 Focus Adjustment

Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens slowly until the projected image appears sharp and clear. For best results, ensure the projector is positioned directly facing the screen.

5.3 Keystone Correction

The K7 projector features advanced keystone correction to adjust distorted images into a perfect rectangle.

  • 6D Auto Keystone Correction: This innovative feature automatically corrects the image to a rectangular shape regardless of the projector's angle. No manual adjustments are typically needed for basic setup.
  • 4-Point and 4D Keystone Correction: For more precise adjustments, you can use the traditional 4-point and 4D keystone correction options via the remote control. This allows for fine-tuning each corner or side of the image independently.

  • Dust Prevention: Keep the projector in a clean, dust-free environment. Regularly clean any air vents to prevent dust buildup, which can affect cooling and performance.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in its original carrying bag or a protective case in a cool, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting (FAQ)

Q: There is no sound when connecting with a Fire Stick or similar streaming device.
A: If you experience no sound while playing videos from apps like Netflix via a Fire Stick, please disable Dolby Sound in the Fire Stick's settings. Navigate to: Settings > Display and Sound > Audio > Dolby Digital Out, and then turn off "Dolby Digital Plus".
Q: The edges of the projected image are a little blurry even after focus adjustment.
A: First, ensure the projector is placed approximately 2.5 meters directly in front of the screen. Then, adjust the focus ring very slowly until the center of the picture is clear. For LCD projectors, it is normal for about 10% of the edges to be slightly less sharp than the center.
Q: There is a small black spot in the image.
A: This issue can typically be resolved. Please contact customer support for assistance.
Q: There is a lag when connected with a Bluetooth speaker.
A: Bluetooth technology in projectors is relatively new. If you experience lag with Bluetooth speakers, there are two primary solutions:
  • Plug an external Bluetooth transmitter into the projector. This can improve compatibility and reduce lag with various Bluetooth speakers.
  • Connect the projector to your speaker using a 3.5mm AUX audio cable. This provides a direct, wired connection that eliminates Bluetooth lag.

8. User Tips

  • The projector's optimal projected dimensions range from 30 to 300 inches for the best viewing experience.
  • The K7 projector is Bluetooth 5.1 compatible, allowing for seamless connection with a wide range of Bluetooth audio devices.
  • For presentations, you can directly play PPT, Excel, and Word files from a USB drive, making it convenient for business or educational use.
  • Utilize the 6D Auto Keystone Correction for quick and effortless image alignment, especially when the projector is not perfectly centered.
