4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Wires
The camera features three control wires to customize its output:
- White Cable (Mirror Effect Control): Cut this cable to switch between mirrored and non-mirrored images. This is useful for front-view installations where a non-mirrored image is preferred.
- Brown Cable (AHD/CVBS Signal Control): The camera outputs AHD video signal by default. If your monitor only supports CVBS, cut this brown cable and then reconnect the camera to its power supply to switch to CVBS mode.
- Green Cable (Parking Line Control): Cut this cable to enable or disable the parking guidelines.
Note: After cutting any wire, always reconnect the power supply to apply the changes.

4.2 Dynamic Trajectory Guidelines
Some camera models offer dynamic trajectory parking lines. These lines adjust automatically based on the vehicle's moving position and speed, providing intuitive guidance during reversing. They do not require steering wheel input.
Note:
- The trajectory guideline adjusts itself automatically according to the moving position and speed of the car body and direction instead of steering wheel control.
- Trajectory guidelines cannot be turned off on models that feature them without a control wire.
- Trajectory backup cameras typically produce AHD 720P 30HZ/NTSC video signal.

6. Maintenance
The GreenYi AHD 1080P camera is designed for durability and minimal maintenance.
- Waterproof Rating: The camera boasts an IP68 waterproof rating, meaning it is fully protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. This allows for worry-free use in rain, snow, and during car washes.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the camera lens with a soft, damp cloth to ensure optimal image clarity. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could scratch the lens.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly check the video and power cables for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections to prevent signal issues.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your camera, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
- No Image on Screen:
- Test the backup camera before routing the video cable from back to front.
- Check all power and video connections. Ensure they are secure and correctly connected.
- If your head unit does not have a reversing trigger wire, you may not need to use the trigger wires on the video cable.
- Verify display settings on your monitor. You can use another device with an RCA connector (e.g., a TV) to confirm if the camera itself is working.
- Blurry, Flickering, or Striped Image:
- Check all power and video connections for looseness or damage.
- Try using a different ground point (an iron part of the vehicle chassis).
- Wrap power and video plugs with electrical tape to insulate them from interference.
- For persistent issues, especially in vehicles like Ford, VW, Audi, BMW, or Mercedes Benz, consider installing a 12V DC power adapter filter rectifier to stabilize the power supply.
- AHD 1080P Not Displaying:
- Ensure your monitor explicitly supports AHD 1080P video input. Some older or cheaper Android head units may have the setting but lack actual AHD support.
- If AHD 1080P is not supported by your monitor, cut the brown cable on the camera and reconnect power to switch to CVBS video signal.
- Parking Lines Not Appearing/Disappearing:
- Check the green control cable. Cut it to toggle parking lines on/off. Remember to reconnect power after cutting.
- For dynamic trajectory models, note that the trajectory guidelines may not be switchable via a control wire and are designed to adjust automatically.

8. User Tips
- Optimal Placement: Experiment with different mounting locations (front, rear, side) and use the adjustable lens to find the best viewing angle for your specific vehicle and needs.
- Cable Management: Route cables carefully to avoid pinching or exposure to sharp edges, which can cause damage and signal loss. Use cable ties to secure loose wiring.
- Signal Compatibility: Always confirm your car's head unit or monitor supports AHD video input for the best resolution. If not, remember to switch the camera to CVBS mode using the brown control wire.
- Testing Before Finalizing: Before making permanent installations or reassembling interior panels, always test the camera thoroughly to ensure it functions correctly and provides the desired view.
