Note: The device may have 'virtual power' on first use. It is recommended to discharge it to 5-10% and then fully charge it before initial use to ensure optimal performance. Ensure the device has at least 75% charge before jump-starting a vehicle.
Operating Instructions
1. Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Ensure the jump starter device has at least 75% charge.
- Turn off all electrical equipment in the car (headlights, navigation, air conditioner, etc.).
- Connect the red clamp of the smart power clip to the positive (+) pole of the car battery.
- Connect the black clamp of the smart power clip to the negative (-) pole of the car battery.
- Fully insert the smart power clip connector into the EC5 interface of the jump starter device. The indicator light on the smart clip should turn green, indicating a correct connection.
- Turn the car's ignition switch to the START position to start the engine.
- Once the car engine starts successfully, immediately unplug the smart power clip connector from the jump starter device and then remove the clamps from the car battery within 30 seconds.
Important: Do not attempt to start continuously. The starting time should not exceed 3 seconds. If the first attempt is unsuccessful, wait at least 30 seconds before trying again. Do not start continuously.
2. Tire Inflation
- Connect the inflatable hose to the device's inflation port.
- Attach the appropriate air mouth adapter to the hose and securely connect it to the tire valve or item to be inflated.
- Press the 'Mode' button (usually represented by a bicycle/car/ball icon) to select the desired inflation mode (Car, Motorcycle, Bicycle, Balls). You can also customize the pressure.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the target pressure.
- Press the 'Power' button (or 'Start' button) to begin inflation. The device will automatically stop when the preset pressure is reached.
- To change pressure units (PSI, BAR, KPA, KG/CM2), press the 'Unit Switch / START Button' twice in quick succession.
Warm Tip: After inflating one tire, it is recommended to wait a few minutes before inflating another to allow the device to cool down.
3. Power Bank Function
- Ensure the mobile device to be charged requires a 5V output.
- Connect the USB cable to the device's USB output port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to your mobile device.
- Press the power button on the device to activate charging. The digital display will show the power level.
4. LED Flashlight
- To turn on the LED light, long press the front switch button for 3 seconds.
- Briefly press the switch button to cycle through modes: Strong light → Strong light flashing → SOS → Off.
Maintenance
- The device can be stored for 3-6 months if unused. However, it is recommended to charge and discharge the device once a month to prolong its service life.
- When not in use, ensure the battery clamps are removed and the dust insulation cover is in place to protect the DO interface.
- The device has an intelligent detection function. If there is no load or charging of electronic products is complete, the power supply will automatically enter sleep mode to conserve power.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues & Solutions
| Phenomenon | Reason | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| During charging, the battery shows 100% but is not fully charged. | The 100% power display indicates that charging has stopped. This might be a 'half charging' state, which is beneficial for long-term storage. | Unplug the charging cable and re-insert it. |
| The device does not respond when a button is pressed. | The device's voltage is too low, and low-voltage protection has activated, cutting off the circuit. | Connect the device to a charger to activate charging. |
Jump Start Specifics
- If the car battery is severely discharged (e.g., doors and headlights cannot be opened normally), it may be necessary to remove the negative pole of the car battery before jump-starting to prevent the power supply from being sucked back and discharged.
- For vehicles with start-stop technology or specific driving procedures, the negative pole of the car battery cannot be removed.

User Tips
- Charging: The device does not typically come with a dedicated wall charger. You can use any standard 5V USB charger (like a phone charger) with the provided USB Type-C cable.
- Jump Start Mode: Ensure the device is adequately charged (above 75%) before attempting a jump start. Follow the connection steps carefully, ensuring the indicator light on the smart clip turns green for a correct connection.
- Inflation Noise: It is normal for the air pump to produce sound during operation. The sound may be continuous or intermittent depending on the inflation stage and pressure.
- Power Display: If the screen shows 100% but you suspect it's not fully charged, try unplugging and re-inserting the charging cable.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
- Q: How do I turn the LED on and off?
- A: Long press the front switch button for three seconds to turn on the LED. Then, gently press the switch to cycle through modes: Strong light → Strong light flashing → SOS → Off.
- Q: How do I turn off the device's power bank function?
- A: The device has an intelligent detection function. If there is no load or charging of electronic products is complete, the power bank function will automatically enter sleep mode. The power off switch only turns off the digital charging power supply. The DO interface for jump starting always has 12V output, so it's important to remove the battery clamps and cover the port when not in use.
- Q: How long does it take to fully charge the device?
- A: Approximately 6 hours. The host unit itself may charge in about 3.4 hours.
- Q: Will incorrect positive and negative connections damage the car?
- A: No, the device is equipped with an intelligent safety detection system. If the clamps are connected incorrectly, the internal fuse will automatically cut off the current to prevent damage to both the operator and the car. However, always ensure correct connection to avoid power surges.
- Q: How many times can the device jump start a car on a full charge?
- A: The number of starts depends on the car's power shortage, battery condition, displacement, and ambient temperature. A fully charged 8800mAh device can typically perform up to 11 engine starts.
- Q: How long can the device be stored?
- A: The device can be stored for 3-6 months if not used. However, it is recommended to charge and discharge the device once a month to prolong its service life.
