Operating Instructions

Once correctly installed, the LED backlight strips operate automatically with your television. They will illuminate when the TV is powered on and dim/turn off according to the TV's display settings and power state.

Maintenance

These LED backlight strips are designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation. To ensure their longevity:

  • Avoid exposing the TV to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  • Ensure adequate ventilation for the TV to prevent overheating, which can degrade LED performance.
  • Do not attempt to clean the backlight strips directly once installed. Clean the TV screen and exterior according to the TV manufacturer's instructions.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues after installing the new backlight strips, consider the following:

  • No Backlight/Dim Backlight:
    • Check all connections to ensure they are secure and correctly seated.
    • Verify the polarity of the connectors (+/-).
    • Ensure the TV's power supply is functioning correctly.
    • Confirm that the TV model is compatible with these specific backlight strips.
  • Uneven Lighting/Flickering:
    • This could indicate a faulty strip or a connection issue. Re-check connections.
    • Ensure all strips are properly seated and not bent or damaged during installation.
  • TV Not Turning On:
    • If the TV does not power on at all, the issue might be with the power supply unit or main board, not necessarily the backlights.

For persistent issues, it is recommended to consult with a professional TV repair technician.
