3. Package Contents

Ensure all items are present and in good condition upon opening the package:

4. Setup

  1. Connect the Humidity Sensor: Plug the humidity sensor cable into the designated port on the KT3010 controller.
  2. Plug in the Controller: Insert the KT3010 controller's power plug into a suitable wall outlet (110V~220V, depending on your model).
  3. Position the Sensor: Place the humidity sensor in the area where you want to monitor and control humidity. Ensure it is not directly exposed to moisture or heat sources that could affect readings.
  4. Connect Your Appliance: Plug your humidifier or dehumidifier into the outlet provided on the KT3010 controller. The controller will then manage the power supply to this appliance based on your settings.

5. Operating Instructions

The KT3010 features a digital display and two control buttons (UP and DOWN) for setting humidity parameters.

  1. Setting Start Humidity:
    • Press the UP button once to display the current start humidity setting.
    • Long press the UP button for approximately 3 seconds until the start humidity value flashes.
    • Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the desired start humidity value.
    • The setting will automatically save after a few seconds of inactivity.
  2. Setting Stop Humidity:
    • Press the DOWN button once to display the current stop humidity setting.
    • Long press the DOWN button for approximately 3 seconds until the stop humidity value flashes.
    • Use the UP or DOWN buttons to adjust the desired stop humidity value.
    • The setting will automatically save after a few seconds of inactivity.
  3. Restoring Factory Settings:
    • To reset the controller to its default factory settings, press and hold both the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously.
    • The display will show "888" briefly, and then the device will automatically detect the current humidity.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the controller and sensor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • Sensor Care: Keep the humidity sensor clean and free from dust or debris to ensure accurate readings. Avoid bending or damaging the sensor cable.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting

8. User Tips

  • For optimal performance, ensure the humidity sensor is placed in a central location within the controlled environment, away from drafts or direct appliance output.
  • When setting the humidity range, allow a differential (e.g., start at 60%RH, stop at 55%RH) to prevent the connected appliance from cycling too frequently.

9. Warranty and Support

This product comes with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.

  • If you are not satisfied with your item, you may return it within 14 days for a replacement or money back. Please contact customer support before returning.
  • If the item is found to be defective within 3 months of purchase, a replacement will be sent without extra charge, or a refund will be offered upon receipt of the defective item.
