3. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to properly install your Aigo AR12 fans and controller:
- Mounting the Fans: Securely mount the AR12 fans to your PC case in desired locations (e.g., front, top, rear) using appropriate screws. The fans feature anti-shock pads on both sides to reduce resonance and noise.
- Connecting Fans to Controller: Connect each AR12 fan's 6-pin cable to the designated FAN ports (FAN1-FAN10) on the Aigo controller.
- Connecting LED Strips (Optional): If using Aigo ARGB LED strips, connect them to the LED ports (LED1, LED2) on the controller.
- Powering the Controller: Connect the SATA power cable from your power supply unit (PSU) to the SATA power input on the Aigo controller.
- Motherboard ARGB Sync (Optional): If your motherboard supports 5V 3-pin ARGB synchronization (e.g., Aura Sync, RGB Fusion, Mystic Light Sync), connect the 5V-3pin ARGB cable from the controller to the corresponding 5V-3pin ARGB header on your motherboard. Ensure you use a 5V-3pin header and NOT a 12V-4pin RGB header, as this can damage the LEDs.

4. Operating Instructions
Your Aigo AR12 fans can be controlled via the included IR remote control or synchronized with your motherboard's ARGB software.
4.1 Remote Control Functions
The IR remote control allows you to manage fan speed, lighting effects, and brightness.

- On/Off: Turns the lighting on or off. The 'On' key is only responsible for switching lights, fan independent control. The 'Off' key is only responsible for switching lights, fan independent control.
- RC/MB: Switches between remote control mode and motherboard synchronization mode.
- S+/S-: Adjusts the luminosity (brightness) of the lighting effects.
- SPEED+/SPEED-: Increases or decreases the speed of lighting effects.
- MODE+/MODE-: Cycles through different lighting modes and effects.
- AUTO: Executes all pre-programmed lighting patterns sequentially, each pattern runs for 5 seconds.
- Seven Color Monochromatic Shortcut Keys: Directly select specific static colors.
4.2 Motherboard Synchronization
If connected to a compatible 5V 3-pin ARGB motherboard header, you can control the fan lighting effects directly through your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion). Switch the controller to MB mode using the remote control.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Aigo AR12 fans.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the fan blades and frame to remove dust buildup. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off before cleaning.
- Inspection: Check cables for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all connections are secure.
6. Troubleshooting
- Fans not spinning/lighting up:
- Check all power connections (SATA from PSU to controller).
- Ensure fan 6-pin cables are securely connected to the controller.
- If using motherboard sync, ensure the 5V-3pin ARGB cable is correctly connected and the controller is in MB mode.
- Test with the remote control to rule out motherboard software issues.
- RGB lighting not working or incorrect colors:
- Verify the 5V-3pin ARGB cable is connected to the correct 5V-3pin header on the motherboard, not a 12V-4pin RGB header.
- Ensure the controller is in the correct mode (RC for remote, MB for motherboard sync).
- Check motherboard RGB software settings.
- Excessive Noise:
- Ensure fans are securely mounted and anti-shock pads are properly positioned.
- Check for any cables obstructing the fan blades.
- Clean any dust buildup on the fan blades.
7. Warranty and Support
The Aigo AR12 PC Case Fan comes with a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and malfunctions under normal use. Please retain your proof of purchase for warranty claims.

8. User Tips
- Compatibility: The Aigo AR12 fans and controller are designed to be compatible with other Aigo AR series cooling fan products. Compatibility with other brands is not guaranteed, so it's recommended to use Aigo AR series components together for the best experience.
- Independent ARGB Control: If your motherboard does not have an ARGB header (e.g., older X99 boards), the included controller can still manage the ARGB lighting effects independently using the remote control.
