Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new zap RC802NU YAI1 infrared remote control. This remote is designed to be compatible with FFALCON Smart TV UF2 Series models, including 50UF2, 55UF2, and 65UF2. It operates using infrared (IR) wireless communication at a frequency of 433 MHz.

Setup

1. Battery Installation:

   The remote control requires two (2) AAA 1.5V alkaline batteries (not included). To install the batteries:

   • Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
   • Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
   • Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
   • Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use:

   No programming or pairing is needed for this remote control. Once the batteries are correctly installed, the remote is ready for immediate use with compatible FFALCON Smart TV UF2 Series models.

Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at your FFALCON Smart TV. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV's IR receiver.

• Power Button (⏻): Turns the TV on or off.
• Number Buttons (0-9): Directly select channels.
• Volume Control (+/-): Adjusts the TV's volume.
• Channel Control (∧/∨): Changes TV channels up or down.
• Navigation Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Navigates through menus and confirms selections.
• Home Button (⌂): Accesses the TV's main smart hub or home screen.
• Back/Exit Buttons: Returns to the previous screen or exits a menu.
• Netflix/Stan Buttons: Provides direct access to these streaming services.
• Media Playback Controls (Play, Pause, Stop, Rewind, Fast Forward, Record): Controls media playback functions.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement:

  When the remote control's performance degrades or it stops responding, it's time to replace the batteries. Always replace both AAA batteries with new ones simultaneously. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

• Cleaning:

  Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or alcohol, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

• Storage:

  If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage.

Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:
  • Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new AAA alkaline batteries.
  • Check for any obstructions between the remote control and the TV's infrared sensor.
  • Ensure you are within the effective range and pointing the remote directly at the TV.
• Specific buttons not working:

  If only certain buttons are unresponsive, try replacing the batteries first. If the issue persists, the remote may be damaged.
